Explore Disneyland: The Original Dream of Walt Disney

Disneyland, the iconic OG theme park that Walt Disney envisioned, holds a special place in the hearts of Disney enthusiasts worldwide. As the magical journey all began with a mouse, this enchanting wonderland has been delighting visitors since its inception.

My last visit to Disneyland was in 2016, and it remains one of the most unforgettable trips to date. Together with my husband Dusty, we celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. From capturing precious moments in photographs, meeting unique characters exclusive to Disneyland, to savoring the diverse culinary delights, our time there was pure bliss.

A standout moment was when we encountered an exceptionally generous photographer in California Adventure during a quiet morning. Intrigued by our anniversary celebration, he dedicated nearly 30 minutes to capturing stunning pictures of us, out of sheer kindness. It was a heartwarming experience that epitomized the magic of Disneyland.

As character enthusiasts, meeting beloved figures is always a highlight for us. During our visit, we were thrilled to come face to face with the likes of Boba Fett, Stormtroopers, Genie, and Oswald. Being avid Star Wars fans, encountering these characters before their arrival at Disney World left us feeling starstruck.

Disneyland boasts an array of delectable cuisine that left a lasting impression on our taste buds. At Goofy's Kitchen, located in the Disneyland Hotel, the peanut butter and jelly pizza stood out as a unique and top-notch delicacy. Steakhouse 55, another gem at the Disneyland Hotel, offered a shrimp risotto that was unparalleled in flavor, along with a 27-layer chocolate cake that remains etched in our minds. However, the ultimate dining experience was at the Blue Bayou, where Cajun-inspired cooking left us craving for more even after returning home.

The anticipation to return to Disneyland is palpable. We are eager to explore the new attractions that have emerged since our last visit, such as San Fransokyo, Avenger's Campus, Galaxy's Edge, and the night-time spectacle, World of Color - One. Having witnessed the original World of Color, which remains one of the best night-time shows we've ever seen, we are excited to witness its evolution and embrace the ever-changing magic of Disneyland.

As we eagerly await our next Disneyland adventure, we cherish the memories of our past visits, eagerly anticipating the enchantment that awaits us upon our return to the place where it all began - Disneyland, the magical dream of Walt Disney.
