Germany
I have been traveling for the last 25 years to some of the most historic and famous landmarks around the world. I fell in love with Europe when I lived in Germany. Germany has many large modern cities to visit with museums and cultural activities, such as Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. Also, there are many smaller cities that date back to Roman times such as Trier and Koblenz. Another great city is Heidelberg, with a well preserved castle over looking the city below. While visiting the castle see the largest wine barrel in the world.
Of course the most famous party in the world takes place in Munich every September. During Oktoberfest is a great time to visit to not only be apart of a large festival, but to see the Black Forest in the autumn. Traveling south from Munich, stay in Garmish to enjoy Alpine skiing in season or just travel to the top of the Zugspitze to enjoy the panoramic view of the Alps.
There is so much to enjoy in Germany. I can help with planning your itinerary, based on what you would like to see. Another great way to see Germany is by cruise, either on the Rhine or Danube Rivers. There are several river cruise options and I can help with choosing the best river cruise that suits your style.
