What is an a Certified Autism Travel Professional?


Certified Autism Travel Professional (CATP) is someone who has demonstrated that they are both knowledgeable and capable of providing support and travel-related services to an individual on the autism spectrum as well as their family.

 

Why did I get this certificate?
All families deserve to have a magical vacation but when you or someone in your family has autism, planning a vacation can be especially overwhelming! I want to help families find the perfect vacation for their family! 

What did I learn?
The course gave an autism overview, as well as shared the perspectives of both individuals with austism as well as their parents. As an autism mom, it was really eye-opening to see the individuals perspectives.

The course reviewed options for air travel, road trips, cruises and resorts. I learned so many tips that I can't wait to share!

As a parent of two neurodivergent kids, that quote couldn't be more true. My kids needs are so different from one another. I like to take the time to learn about the different needs of each family to make sure everyone feels safe and supported.
