Australia is the perfect destination. There is so much to see and do and one of the safest places to travel. There is great weather year round, with the winter months (June-August) averaging 60 degrees. and during the summer (December-February) averaging 72 degrees. It also holds on of the original natural wonders of the world, The Great Barrier Reef.
Australia is broken up into 7 main area and each has much to offer. There is Queensland that is in the Northwest portion of Australia, which boasts The Great Barrier Reef, kangaroos at Cape Hillsborough, Badarra Island, Brisbane River, Brisbane ("beautiful one day, perfect the next"), Whitsunday Islands, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Lady Elliot Island (manta rays & turtles), Hervey Bay (humpback whales), Moreton Island (hand feed dolphins), Daintree Rainforest and 900 islands.
The next area is called New South Wales, which is on the East side of Australia. The Australian Capital Territory sits in it close to the coast. In New South Wales you will find the famous Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley (150 wineries, spas and golf), Byron Beach (foodies, whales and dolphins), Sydney Harbor Bridge (golf, surfing, cycling, whale watching), Bondi Beach, Jervis Bay (dolphins).
Below New South Wales on the Southeast side of Australia you will find Victoria. In Victoria you will find the Great Ocean Road (243km, views, beaches, rainforests, twelve apostles, Lord Ard Gorge and the great ocean walk), Phillip Island (penguins, koalas, caves and food) which hosts the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, Yarra Valley (Victorian wine making, hot air balloon, Healesville Sanctuary Wildlife Park and Tarrawarra Museum of Art), Melbourne, Fitzroy and St. Kilda (kite surfing). New South Wales is also the home of the famous Sydney Opera House.
In the Northern Territory you can find aboriginal culture unspoiled, Uluru, Alice Springs, Kakadu (50,000 year old rock art, Bowali, Warradjan, waterfalls, crocodiles, and plunge pools), Darwin and Corcosaurus Cove.
In Western Australia you will find Maragret River (wine, timber forests, surf breaks and caves), Ningaloo Reef (where you can snorkel right off the beach), Kimbereley Region (national parks and diving for pearls) and Perth.
In South Australia you will find Kangaroo Island, Barossa, Flinders Range and Adelaide.
In Tasmania you will find Freycinet Peninsula (bushwalking, sailing and rock climbing), Cradle Mountain ( hikes, helicopters and horses), Strahen and Hobart.
In the Australian Capital Territory there are over 140 vineyards, cycle paths, mountain biking, hot air balloons, family fun places and art and culture.
