From the first time I set foot in the sand, I knew Beaches Resorts was the place for me.  From the moment you arrive at the resort, you know you are on vacation.  When I got off my airport transfer, my bags were whisked away and I did not have to worry about them at all.

At check in, you are seated in a nice, cool lobby, you are given a cold rum punch and the staff prepares everything for your check in.  No standing in line is needed.  All you need to do at the counter is apply your credit card for incidentals, show your passport, and sign for your room.

You are then escorted to your room and if you bags are not already there, they will arrive very shortly there after.

Although each resort is a little different, they are all luxurious.  I stayed in Key West in the Turks & Caicos resort.  In Negril, I stayed in the Tropical Beach Front Concierge Family Room.  In Ocho Rios, I stayed at the Greek Village in the Concierge level.

Beaches is an All-Inclusive resort.  That means that all food and beverages served are included.  There may be an additional cost for some types of alcohol.  Each resort has numerous restaurant options and reservations are highly recommended.

Here were my favorite restaurants.  At Negril, it was Mariachi's.  In Turks & Caicos, it was Kimono's and at Ocho Rios, it was Josephine's Creperie.

They have a great water park at each of the Beaches Resorts and the Sesame Characters are present.  From a Sesame Street Parade to other activities that the characters have with the kids, your kids will have a blast.

One thing I really liked about going to a Beaches Resort is that tips are included.  You tip your driver to and from the airport as they are not Sandals/ Beaches employees and if you choose a butler suite and/ or a cabana, you are permitted and should tip your butler and/or cabana attendant.
