My passion is helping others create travel experiences that best fit their travel style, dreams, and budget. Working with a wide range of clients from brides and honeymoon couples to family groups and specialty travel, I pride myself in creating memories that last a lifetime and true personal service for my clients. I have extensive personal experience traveling around the world and with cruising. In addition, I have more than 40 years of experience in a position that involved detailed organization, planning, budgeting and follow-through. Not only have I traveled to 48 of the 50 states within the US, I have also been in every country in Western Europe, and three countries in Eastern Europe. I have experienced safaris in South Africa, home life and travels through Japan, and river cruises in Europe. While living in Wales, UK for 18 months, I used this as a travel base to visit all parts of Great Britain, including Ireland and Scotland. With nearly 100 cruises under my belt, I have become an expert in cruise travel, especially in the Caribbean. I have both a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Royal Caribbean University and am currently completing certifications with additional travel groups.

Barbara has booked 3 cruises for us. She really is the best. Barbara Is involved with all aspects of our bookings until the moment we get on board our ship, and beyond. Best Travel Agent by far!

Working with Barb was seamless. She took care of all of our travel arrangements and gave us a tremendous sense of peace knowing everything was all set. We had an issue with a rental car and the location had apparently run out of cars. One call to Barb and it was straightened out and they magically had a car waiting for us. I can't say enough about how professional and amazing Barb is. I will always use Trips Ahoy in the future planning our vacations.

Our heavenly honeymoon!

Barb was the best travel agent we have ever used! She was very informative, also on the ball, and just very pleasant. She booked our trip, and helped us pick what to do during our honeymoon! We traveled to St. Thomas, and stayed at bolongo bay, with an all inclusive package for 7 days. She even had given us 2 nights at the margaritaville resort as our wedding gift!! It was so beautiful and so generous! She was always checking in, asking if we need anything and what else could be done. I will never travel with anyone but her!

I was nervous when booking a group trip for a Caribbean cruise since I had never been on a cruise before. Barb completely eliminated my concerns and helped to guide our group from planning, to booking, to boarding, and also helped us to make sure we were able to take advantage of every opportunity while we were on the trip. She took the time to make personal connections with each person in our group leading up to the trip. She removed any stress that I’ve experienced in the past with traveling. I cannot say enough about Barb Peters and Trips Ahoy. Barb was extremely diligent, friendly & knowledgeable. She made the whole process of booking our honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica not only easy, but STRESS FREE. Barb made awesome recommendations on the hotel & "Club Mobay" which made our arrival and departure so much easier and relaxing. She also allowed us to make installment payments so we didn't have to pay all at once. I will never work with another travel agent because I found MY GO TO with Barb. Great Cruise with a Wonderful Travel Advisor

Barbara Peters was an excellent agent for our 8 night 9 day cruise to the southern Caribbean. Although a balcony room was super hard to get, she pulled it off. The room was spacious and on deck 10 of Adventure of the Sea which we loved. We had a great time! Barbara was there for us every step of the way, which helped a lot as cruising can be confusing. There are many things to consider and Barb is well versed on every aspect. Thank you Barbara for excellent service!!
