My love for travel and adventure started as an exchange student in High School.
Most people believe that an amazing vacation is out of their reach, it's not!
With over 12 years of professional/personal travel experience and considerable knowledge in planning amazing and unforgettable vacations. I can make your dream vacation or destination wedding a reality, most trips can be booked with a low deposit and you can make interest free payments, it's that simple.

River cruises are now my new favorite. I am loving the sites and history of Europe. The wine and food tours are excellent, and the history is simply awe-inspiring. I can't get enough of the Castles.

She was very helpful and knowledgeable and found my son a great vacation The next day I learned her agency burned to the ground. My heart sank for this kind woman. Just when you think all is lost, destroyed. Kathleen contacts you and tells you NOT to WORRY. In her struggles of losing her building, she came through. Kathleen Scallon does not need the building to define what a dedicated ethical travel agent she is. She still went above and beyond to make the experience everything that you could ask for. Our Romantic overdue vacation

Romantic, relaxing, fun and exciting, I have traveled all over the world as a child, although it has been 10 years since my last vacation. WOW has the world of travel changed! I feel blessed Kathleen was recommended to us, she took the extra time to help us with our passports, find the perfect resort, exactly what we imagined. Most important, she eased our anxiety navigating the airports in this crazy world. I will recommend Kate to all our friends. She's honest, funny and really cares for her clients. We felt very confident. We even called her 3 times while in Aruba and Kathleen helped us with each concern. The world needs more people like this young lady.

Unexpected Wild Adventure

Traveling with 3 boys and a daughter my husband and I was a bit nervous where to take our family for vacation. My daughter wanted horseback riding and the boys wanted hiking and ATVs. I had no idea where to take this bunch. After days of researching I gave up and a friend told me about Somerset Tours & Travel. Wow, one visit and we were on our way to some great adventures in Costa Rica. The kids are still talking about it. I am happy the Agency is back. I wish them the very best and plan on visiting very soon

An Anniversary we wont ever forget

During the move to her new office, Kathleen still took the time to make sure our flights were on time and my wife and I sat together. The resort she recommended was exactly as she said, We stood at the Hyatt Zilara in Jamaica. Kathleen had a private driver waiting for us to take us to the resort. She is so thoughtful, kind and does more than she should.

Kate’s eagerness to please.. the only reason I gave her a 4 str is because it took her a few days to get back to us and we were very excited. Kathleen did her job, I understand she had just reopened however, Carol,and I was overly excited to get this booked. She always had a smile and grated us like family. We just got back from an amazing 14 day vacation in Italy & France. 5 Stars isn’t enough. There were 8 of us. Kathleen planned the perfect itinerary. I don’t know how she put up with us. From flights, hotels, transfers and private guides she has the patience and kindness of a saint. I highly recommend Somerset Tours & Travel. They go out of their way to make your vacation wonderful, stress free and they know their stuff! I love how the whole office works as a team to make the trip outstanding. Planes Trans and automobiles

Kathleen was amazing. Our trip through Spain, France and ending in Italy was perfect. From our transfers she made us feel like a King and Queen with a Limo waiting for us at every airport. Her detailed itinerary felt as thou she was right there along side of us. I now she worked hard on our trip becasue we went to some remote places never thinking we would have the time of our life meeting extraordinary people staying in such beautiful Hotels. Kathleen and the staff at Somerset Tours and Travel are kind and thoughtful. My husband was ill and couldn’t drive to the office for our final documents so what do they do? The most beautiful trip of our life

Very nice, funny and honest to a fault. Kate made sure my wife and I received the best value for our budget.We took an All Inclusive Tauck River Cruise and Kate made all our fears flying to Europe go away.
The trip was beyond amazing and we are today planning a River Cruise for our whole family. The Castles on the Rhine are unbielievly beautiful. We felt as if we were in a fairytale. I recommend Kate to all our friends young and old.
The best part of working with Kate is she treated us like family, nothing was good enough.The worse part is the anticipation of waiting for our finished itineraries.
Kate takes her time to ensure everything is exactly as we plan, even though that's not a bad thing we were so excited to get that finished work on our hands.
We always look forward to meeting with Kate and wish her much success in her new office.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

Smooth, patient,Kathleen researched like crazy to be sure everyone in our crazy family was happy. Paddle boarding, Spa and golf, Kathleen even had a surprise Catamaran excursion for us, we snorkeled for the first time. Next time.....Ricks Cafe w/o the kids!She certainly got it done. We had the best Christmas ever.

Relaxing catered Tour

Nice office, the staff treats you like a family member visiting. They offered me and my husband Tea and cookies. The interview was very thorough and comfortable. The hours vary so its best to make an appointment. Our trip went without a glitch, the only thing I didnt like was it took longer than I expected, but Kathleen reassured me her research takes time and she doesn't book just anything to make a sale. I would recommend Somerset Tours to my friends, my wife has disabilities, everything was wonderful that is enough for me. She truly cares about her customers..

Kathleen was very patient with me. This cruise was the first cruise without my wife of 65 years. Kathleen took the time to make sure all my needs we taken cared of from the ride to the airport to my transfers to the dock. The kindness she showed me, even working after hours and hand delivering my travel documents was so thoughtful. I have never been treated in such a way, she made me feel special and very confident. My cruise was everything and more. I recommend this young lady to all my friends. She is truly a gem.
