When I graduated HS in the 80s, after four years of French, 10 days spring break in Europe, and no other passion than to see the world, Mom and Dad bought me a HARD sided baby blue suitcase and sent me to an accredited travel school near Orlando, FL where I learned all aspects of the industry. We're talking before computers folks! Employed by TWA, New York Air, and Midway airlines (I know throwin' it WAY back) I met the man of my dreams, spent our honeymoon in Hawaii then took time off to raise our 3 kids. My background allowed us the insight to frugally take some very lavish vacations; we've nearly done it ALL!

8 years ago I joined the corporate world. A few business trips later and they put ME in charge of the all corporate travel! I have been assigned the most complicated VISA acquisitions for my colleagues of all nationalities and circumstances. Booking every facet of large corporate events and tracking every detail of my co-workers including their personal preferences has expanded my knowledge and expertise.
