My name is Patricia Mickus and I am a Co-Owner and Travel Consultant with Simple Luxuries Travel specializing in luxury Family Travel, including Disney Destinations, cruises and all inclusive resorts.
I am a big believer that spending money on travel and experiences makes a happier family. My kids have too much stuff already. By traveling together we are able to make memories that will last a lifetime. We take ourselves out of our normal routine, keep distractions at a minimum and focus on enjoying time spent with each other. Nothing is better than a genuine laugh coming out of your teenage son or watching them experience something new for the first time.
For many families that first trip to Disney World is special. My first trip to Walt Disney World was 50 years ago during their opening year. Since then, I have taken 48+ trips to Disney destinations, staying at value, moderate and deluxe Disney properties. Genie+, ADR, MB, EMH, LL, FOP, CM are these acronyms a foreign language to you? I can quickly help you through all the planning needed for your family to just sit back and enjoy the magic.
Do you have a Harry Potter fan? Looking for a bit more adrenaline? Why not add a few days at Universal Resorts Orlando. Don't like standing in line? No problem, with my tips your family will skip the regular lines inside the parks.
Family vacations are not limited to theme parks. My family has travelled throughout the Caribbean. We just returned from an all inclusive resort in Jamaica with 12 family members! Hearing about daily SCUBA adventures the kids experienced with their cousins each night at dinner was the highlight of the adults on the trip.
I want to use my knowledge as a Family Travel Specialist to take the guesswork out of planning for you. By working closely with our travel partners I am able to custom design a once in a lifetime experience for your family.

2019 Cousins Crew Trip
My most recent trip to Jamaica was planned last year. She assisted in providing varying room options (we ended up with an oceanfront suite). Patricia provided us with airport options and even suggest a VIP service which made the airport experience wonderful and uneventful. The Beaches Ocho Rios resort was amazing!
