In 2004 I read an article about Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes and fell in love with the location and was so interested in learning more! I became a certified travel agent in 2005 and have worked for the same family since then.
You never take a location for granted. There is always so much to learn even when selling Disney or the Caribbean. Not everyone client wants to sit on a beach. Talking to my clients and getting to know their wish lists helps me to make dreams come true. I look forward to the challenge of a location my clients want to travel. Learning is the key! Going to trade shows and connecting with different people from other countries helps when my clients are looking for that one of a kind trip. Never afraid to ask questions puts a location in perspective and allows me to set up itineraries that are made up especially for each person. I am constantly attending learning conferences, trade shows, online training, site inspections, hotel inspections and keeping in touch with the people I meet. Being a "dream maker" is not a fly by night job. Quick story: Had two couples book last minute to Sandals Royal Bahamian and they wanted to go out to the private island on their first night for dinner but were all booked. Since making friends with the bar manager on site I contacted him directly and he took my clients to the island himself and had dinner reservations waiting for them.
My agency, A Premier Travel Agency, is a family owned agency with over forty years of experience across the globe. I was lucky to have been brought in without any experience. I value my time with them and value their expertise!
Life is short and the world is wide is an excellent quote. So much in life is taken for granted. I believe memories of family and friends is the way life should be!!
I have been very lucky to travel many places but my list is long. I have so many more adventures I want to take with people I have yet to meet. My newest certification is Australia. I worked months and months learning the various territories and want to travel to each and every one of them. I have been to Italy and met my cousins and family, opening day of Oktoberfest, Giant's Causeway in Ireland, the black beach of Iceland and zip lined in Costa Rica even with a broken foot and I would not change one single memory. I am looking forward to making many, many more memories.

It was great working with Suellen. She worked on getting us the best airfare for our trip as well as the nicest places to stay. This wasn't an easy task since were are travelling to four different locations on Europe. She answered all my questions promptly. I would have never been able to book the airfare, hotel, train, etc. Suellen knows her stuff. She's the best.

I have worked with Suellen on multiple occasions. In the future, she is the only travel agent I will work with. From the beginning of the booking process she is extremely hands on. She showed me all of the possible options for what I was looking for in a vacation and made herself available to answer any and all questions I could have. When it came to booking, she found the best price by taking her time to compare different sites and tours. That definitely helps me! Suellen is also very well versed in a lot of different locations from personal experience which helps because you get to hear another person’s point of view first hand rather than read about the venue online. Leading up to departure, Suellen made sure all of my documents were delivered and I knew what I was doing to leave safely. She made herself available while on vacation as well just in case there were any issues. This is definitely one travel agent that has my business!

Suellen was great to work with. She went above and beyond with booking the hotels, flights, and all of the transportation. We had numerous scheduled transfers with transportation providers, all of which went flawlessly. We appreciated the extra "touches" in honor of our anniversary.

We traveled with our adult daughter to Zurich, Liechtenstein, Venice, and San Marino. Suellen was quick, responsive, and very helpful in accommodating our travel wishes. She arranged private tours to get us to the micro-countries, booked great accommodations at all of our destinations, and handled all flights. She even found a private driver who took us touring through cities of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy while he transported us to San Marino. We were very satisfied and highly recommend Suellen.
