I attended the Travel Trade School more than 25 years ago, and was lucky enough to find a position working as an agent, where I learned the skills and some of the information needed to be a travel agent. That's only a small part of the big picture however.  Traveling around the world and immersing in the culture, and seeing some of what is off the beaten path, is what has really been integral in this career.  The places I have been and the things I have experienced have been invaluable to me in this wonderful job of mine.  Traveling with my husband and children, with girlfriends, and with other agents has allowed me to experience many destinations in different ways.  It has given me the firsthand knowledge that I truly believe gives my clients confidence that they are in good hands.  The satisfaction I feel when I meet with a client and know that I have painted a picture for them of what they can expect during their vacation is priceless to me. 

Beach Vacations throughout Mexico and the Caribbean were my first love, which led me to my first specialization as a Destination Wedding and Honeymoon specialist.  In my over twenty five years as a travel counselor, I have added Central America and Europe as well as River Cruising, to my ever growing list of travel experiences. Italy has become one of my favorite countries to spend time in, there is so much to see and do!  My most recent first-time experience was visiting Kuala Lumpur for our second Formula One race, then relaxing on the beaches of Phuket, Thailand, where we visited an elephant sanctuary and bathed with those beautiful gentle giants.

Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist

I have been coordinating Destination Wedding Travel for over a dozen years. Although the primary destination for my clients is Mexico as it is convenient and very affordable, part of what I do is make sure that the destination and resort my clients ultimately choose is the best fit for their guests as well as for the couple.  Knowing these destinations from personal experience is what I think has been the key to my success in the Destination Wedding market.  While managing over 100 guests from multiple cities can be challenging at times, it is always rewarding to hear from my wedding couples once they return home and show me those gorgeous wedding photos!
