I’m blessed to have a family that loves traveling as much as I do, and we take every opportunity we can to explore the world. We’ve cruised and traveled by land, sea and rivers around Europe, and the world. It has been wonderful traveling with both my parents and children in fascinating and beautiful destinations.
I’ve lived in multiple states throughout the years including New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Virginia, and now Texas. I worked as a Certified Public Accountant after university, and this gave me the organizational skills to excel in travel planning.
After taking time off to raise my children, I decided to re-enter the workforce as a travel agent so I could utilize my skills to help Empty-nesters, families, honeymooners and small groups see the world. Traveling has provided my family with some of our greatest memories, and I love helping people cultivate the same great experiences abroad!
Today, I specialize in luxury vacations in Europe, Africa, the Galapagos, and beyond. I book everything from customized vacations on land with private drivers and guides, to river cruises, luxury small ship cruises, and more. I will navigate everything for you so you don’t have to stress when planning your vacation. I can attend to all of your details, or just a few, as you wish.
I try to personally experience all of the cruises and river cruises that I work with so I know you’re getting the best. I will help you discover the perfect ship and route so you can have an incredible time. Plus, I will carefully plan your itinerary so you have time to explore each destination without feeling rushed or stressed.
I will simplify the booking process to make traveling easier than ever. I recently helped a couple travel to Europe for their first international vacation. Their kids had just left for college, and they wanted to explore Italy’s amazing culture but had no idea how to do it. I carefully planned all of the ground transportation around Italy, and created a detailed itinerary for them with customized touring and experiences, and of course, I found them lodging at wonderful hotels where they were given VIP treatment. I walked them through everything so they felt at ease before departing, and they ended up having an incredible time!
Another recent trip that I booked was a four-week European journey for a larger and diverse group. They wanted to stay in luxury hotels in seven different cities, and I planned everything to ensure they had enough time to relax and see what they wanted. I planned all of the transportation, touring, activities, and found them lovely and well-located hotels. Even though their itinerary was complex, they got everything they wanted and more!

Wonderful Agent

Trip of a lifetime!

We contacted Diane earlier this year to begin our travel plans to Italy. Diane was not only super responsive and friendly but she was also very knowledgeable in the cities we were considering in Italy. She travels frequently to several destinations each year. I think this is a huge advantage when she makes recommendations on travel plans, excursions and hotels. We gave Diane tentative dates and cities and she was able to quickly put together several options. Everything was handled with exceptional attention to detail.
Our vacation was absolutely perfect. Every hotel check-in, train ride, flight, car service, and excursion went perfectly! Her list of preferred vendors and hotels can not be beat.

Above-and-beyond every step of the way

I have known Diane for over 30 years and she is one of the most elegant people I know. So, luxury travel is right up her alley. However, I put our friendship to the test and asked her to find me a "City Slickers" style cattle drive. And she did not disappoint! I am just back from my week on the range and am a better person for it. Not only did she ply her network to find the best outfitter, but she made the initial contacts and set me up with top-shelf travel insurance. 'Cause you never know what's going to happen out there. Upon my return, I thought I left my iPad in airport security and Diane committed to help me out (and I quote) "I will do whatever it takes to make it right for you on my end". She is truly the best of the best, don't think twice about contacting her.

Customized Greek Islands Vacation had it all

As we started to investigate our much anticipated trip to Greece, we realized how many different islands/locations there are to visit and all the logistics. Diane was able to provide expertise to us on the best islands, and historic and beach destinations that matched our interests. She was also knowledgeable with the best ground, air, and ferry options to easily get from one location to the next.She took care of all the details for us so we could just relax and enjoy our vacation. She also found us some special hotels where we were warmly welcomed. Her private guides were all excellent and catered the touring perfectly for our interests. We saw the true value of a customized trip that allowed us to see historic sites, guided walking tours, enjoy beach time, and a fantastic catamaran sunset dinner cruise. Next time we are going to try a few days on a private yacht and maybe even a villa with the family! The entire trip exceeded my expectations and we will use Diane's services again

Great Honeymoon

Hawaii Group Birthday Celebration

I met Diane when I was working as a travel advisor. I knew she was top-notch then, but now, as a client, I truly know! We had a family trip to Hawaii for my husband's 60th birthday, and although I could have coordinated the whole thing, I didn't want to be responsible for everyone's itineraries because I wanted to enjoy MY vacation! Best possible choice to have Diane coordinate. She is very communicative and was extremely patient as things changed due to COVID or if we had questions or changes. When everyone's inter-island flights were canceled, it was such a relief to make "one call to solve it all" and from the beach no less. Everyone thought I was the rock star for making that call! It was a fabulous trip for everyone and I would highly recommend using Diane for future travels.

Wonderful family trip to Turks

She was very knowledgeable about the options available to us in Turks and had first hand experience of the island and the resort. Diane made booking all of the arrangements extremely easy. A Great Way to Experience Alaska

Our Italy Trip!

We had a great experience with Diane. We are not frequent travelers (although that may change!) so the thought of coordinating this trip was overwhelming, But, from planes to trains to water taxis to private cars Diane had us covered, all we had to do was show up! Honeymoon planning made easy!

Diane Frisch made planning our honeymoon so much easier. She helped us sort through all the options for cruises and explained the differences between the cruise lines, and cabin types. She also helped to find us the best possible price and an extra credit for onboard spending! On top of that she booked a car to pick us up at the airport, a really nice hotel for the night before the cruise, and some excursions that the cruise line didn't offer. And when the cruise line ran a sale, she was able to bring down the price even lower for us. It was nice with all of the wedding things going on to not need to worry about this. I definitely recommend working with Diane!

I had looked for years to find a great travel agent. Diane Frisch came highly recommended to me, so I called her. From the beginning to the end of the planning process, Diane was impeccable! She paid attention to every single detail and walked us through avoiding the typical "travel mistakes" one can make when trying to book without a professional. After all the planning was in place, every last detail, Covid 19 started. Once we realized that travel would not be safe since I was with my in-laws, Diane went to work again! Lovely Lake Como Experience

Wanting a special place on Lake Como to celebrate our 60th birthday with family we reached out to Diane, who came back with several properties for us to consider. We'd actually seen Villa Leoni on other rental platforms, but with different names, availability, and pricing. For peace of mind, we booked through Diane. Throughout the process, she was extremely responsive and thorough, even negotiating heating of our villa's pool. When we arrived and found the pool was not heated, we asked the concierge to turn it on. She said that would cost extra. I pointed to our contract & the heater was promptly turned on at no additional cost! The concierge said that contract language was highly unusual! The villa was just lovely, convenient to Lake Como attractions, with amazing views. Diane arranged a private chef for 2 nights and a 6-hour boat tour on Lake Como. Our guide/captain was charming and informative & that day was a definite highlight of our trip! I would recommend this agent to my family and friends

Thank you for planning our most effort-less and wonderful vacation ever! We loved how you took care of us from the moment we started planning until we came back home. You had your people there to greet us in the Airport and ease our way through Passport control and that was a fantastic way to start this vacation! Every bit of ground transportation was pre-arranged and that also made this trip seamless. The private guides were able to show us everything that we knew we wanted to see, but what is more, they got to know us and ended up showing us things we did not even realize existed and that we absolutely LOVED. We chose to book our travels to Spain with Diane based upon her initial enthusiasm and willingness to customize a package of flights, tours, tennis tournament, and upgraded accomodations; all of this and at the same time working with my wife's mobility restrictions. This trip was a 2 year belated celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and my promise to make it happen; despite the ever present COVID Pandemic threat. Diane worked her magic and put together a very memorable 9 day tour of the Barcelona area and the Island of Mallorca. The only time our itinerary was disrupted was on the Saturday of the Barcelona Open Tennis Tournament where we were treated to a Texas level hail and rain storm; no tornado though. The tour guides were always early, friendly, spoke English, and were very informative about their particular tour. Diane did a great job of delivering memories that we can share and treasure a long time.

Diane- I wanted to let you know we all had a great time. I am sure glad we used a true professional travel agent. I know this was a complicated trip with a lot of people and a lot moving parts. Everyone really enjoyed it.
The one bad transfer you got us a full refund on in less than 24 hours—WOW. You also got us a reduced rate on the lack of pick up at the hotel in London—I did not expect that. The guides and transfers were all great except the one you got us a refund on.
I wish my airline people were as good as you-- we all got home—but I am still waiting on some refunds on canceled flights from 60 days ago and several other issues.
The VRBO we rented on our own was good—but it was little warm and it had no AC---
I also wanted to tell you how great the travel app AXUS was for our itineraries-- It was a huge help! Thanks for setting us up with that.

I was very pleased to have Diane coordinate our 8-day 25th Anniversary trip to Paris. Early on, Diane took the time to understand our needs and interests. She arranged airport transportation that comfortably fit our large group of 8 travelers ranging in ages from 11 to 83. She provided tour ideas that were spot-on and within our budget. When hiccups arose Diane communicated in a timely manner and worked to determine solutions that were agreeable. While in Paris we were extremely satisfied by our private tour guide, Gigi. He was very knowledgable about Parisian history and art and also was very personable. My family loved our trip! I highly recommend Diane!

We used Diane Frisch Destinations to help us plan honeymoon in Europe. Working with an expert made the experience so much easier! When we hit unforeseen bumps in the road (like canceled tours or a major taxi strike in Rome) Diane was available to help us and make adjustments to our plans. Because she was handling the logistics we were able to carry on and enjoy our time in Europe without stressing. Best Trip Ever!

Diane is quick to respond, so kind, and extremely knowledgeable! In January the US established a policy that required all international inbound passengers to show proof of a negative covid test to return to the states. While my husband and I are both vaccinated, we really did not want to deal with this during our honeymoon. We reached out to Diane who helped us find a great alternative honeymoon location within the US and she set us up with an amazing resort with only a short 2 month notice. She also made sure to add nice touches to our stay which made us feel so special and pampered. Our honeymoon would not have been nearly as perfect had we not used Dianes help. We raved about her so much that now my sister has reached out for help with her honeymoon! I cannot recommend Diane more and we will only use her services moving forward. Thank you for an amazing trip to the Southwest! It was one of the best trips we have ever been on!

Diane helped us plan our perfect European honeymoon. She put together all of the pieces into a perfect itinerary. We had time in a great hotel in Barcelona and day trips, a Flamenco show and Tapas touring. Then we had a Med cruise with excursions, then some time in Rome, with guided tours and cooking classes, a flight to Paris, a day trip with bike riding on the grounds of Versailles, a moonlit boatride on the Seine and a fun finish at Disneyland Paris. Diane arranged all of this for us, and then, when covid hit, she helped us find a way to cancel every part of this without losing ANY money. Now she is helping us plan a new trip for next year all over again. Her connections and experience have made all of the difference for us, and I can not recommend her more highly!

Diane took our vacation experience to the next level! She found us a beautiful five star hotel and got us some great free perks, including resort credit, delicious breakfasts and an upgrade. On top of that, she made the entire experience stress-free for us. She worked her connections at the hotel to get us great rooms and also found us some fun private excursions. It was just about a year ago when I began planning a trip for my daughters graduation as well as a celebration for my mothers 90th birthday. From start to the finish of planning our cruise, Diane was a wealth of information regarding all facets of cruising. It was the best decision I ever made using a travel agent as reservations could not have gone easier. Up to the day of our trip,
Most would think that is where a travel agents involvement ends; however, when we had an issue with the cruise line on the day of our departure due to an error on the part of the cruise line, one text message to Diane resolved a matter that three visits to Client Services aboard the ship did nothing.
In the words of a crew member “ You must have an excellent travel agent” and yes we did!
