Adam Barnes did an exemplary job of arranging our last-minute River cruise on Uniworld late in the pandemic quarantine when travel rules changed on a daily basis.
We encountered a major snafu when Air France refused to issue boarding passes on our return flight from Portugal. They ruled that the documents in our possession were insufficient, and I was forced to telephone Adam at 3:30 AM US time. In spite of this, he remained calm and gracious, and successfully handled the uncooperative Air France agents by providing them with the documentation they required.
I don’t know how this stalemate would have been resolved without Adam’s intervention. A Uniworld rep was with us but could not achieve a resolution. She was quite impressed with Adam’s reassuring, professional demeanor in the face of an impossible situation.
