Honeymoon and River Cruise Specialist
I have been blessed to be in this incredible travel industry for over 32 years. I initially started my agency as a cruise only agency but then expanded a few years later into the world of land travel.
I realized that cruises were amazing but that most clients want to have different experiences throughout their lifetime. That may include an all-inclusive vacation, a trek through Mayan Ruins in Belize or Guatemala, or it might include tasting wine while sailing down the Douro River in Portugal.
I am passionate about helping young honeymoon couples start out their life together. When helping them plan destination weddings and honeymoons, I get so much satisfaction.
I love it when I call after travelers get home and I get to listen to them rave about their experiences. What a wonderful way to start a marriage, spending time bonding together through travel experiences!
I have been fortunate to sail on many different rivers, and what an experience it has been! Some of my favorite experiences have included:
- Sailing down the Yangtze River in China,
- Cruising past castles on the Rhine,
- Sailing on the Rhone and Saone rivers. Stopping to taste pastries in quaint cafes in Provence, and going to the local markets
- Watching hippos next to our vessel when sailing down the Chobe River in South Africa.
- Sailing down the Danube and experiencing the Wachau Valley.

Vacation of a Lifetime

Mimi is the consummate professional! Every phone called is returned as soon as possible, and if she can't return it personally, she has someone else return it for her. Every conversation is documented with a follow up email, detailing arrangements made. She maintains contact throughout the planning process, making sure everything you need is handled. Questions that you may not think to ask yourself, she brings to your attention. We traveled to Hawaii from Nevada, then cruised to Canada from Hawaii. EVERYTHING was taken care of. Transportation from the airport to the hotel and to the cruise ship in Hawaii. Transportation from the port to the hotel in Canada. All excursions, flight reservations, transfers, everything was covered. There was nothing left to chance. I have recommended Mimi to everyone I know. She is planning our next trip to Iceland. I truly don't believe you can get better service from anyone, anywhere.

She is the best! I was a little nervous about traveling overseas but she had a private tour guide in every port that was fantastic. I felt so much more confident being with those guides. They have a personal relationship with Mimi and the office. Mimi made it so convenient for me to make payments so that I didn't have to pay everything all at once. I don't think I will ever travel without using Mimi! She and her staff have been to so many of the places themselves that they know what hotels/ships/resorts she would recommend for her clients. They are a family run business and they make you feel like you are part of the family!

Honeymoon

Working with Mimi and Cruise Holidays was a great experience for the entire family. My wife and I had a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta and the process was so smooth. Mimi had everything planned out for us so that my wife and I didnt have to worry about any of the details. We were able to relax the whole vacation knowing we were in good hands. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

avoided disaster

Mimi and Cindy are the best to work with. There is a reason why things go smoothly 95% of the time, this wonderful team. from time to time something happens that needs to taken care of very quickly and I have found that Mimi and Cindy take these time very personally. When I booked our vacation to Mexico they stressed the importance of insuring it just for that unexpected problem that might occur. You pay just a little more but it sure was nice when a close relative feel ill and the vacation had to be cancelled. I came to the team in a small panic that I was going to have to cancel my vacation and worse yet loss my 7,500.00. The team made us feel like I was the most important person and that they were going to get this resolved before they did anything else that day. The great news is before the next week was out I had a check to put back for a future trip to Mexico and the Ladies at Comfort Tours handled everything.Thanks Mimi and Cindy for making my life easier during a tough time.

Unforgettable Family Vacation

Mimi arranged an outstanding trip for our family. She anticipated our needs and turned the unknown into the unforgettable. Mimi booked the perfect location, and then helped with fly fishing, hiking, rafting, zip line, golf and dining recommendations. We enjoyed a week like locals thanks to her insight. In addition to handling our payments, Cindy checked in once when we arrived to make sure everything was as we expected and answer any last minute questions.
Mimi called when we returned to get our feedback, but more importantly, she stays in touch all year. True professional.
