A decade later, a different all inclusive resort in Negril, Jamaica, pampered us with floral extravagance, a beachside vow renewal complete with a wedding cake, and an officiant to make the moment truly luxurious.

As soon as my two boys entered the scene, our family adventures took flight. We explored the wonders of Cozumel, courtesy of a very family oriented cruiseline, creating lasting memories. For awhile my little family lived and breathed baseball. One standout journey that holds the crown as my all-time favorite unfolded in March 2023, our meticulously planned escapade to Joshua Tree National Park and Las Vegas.In a whirlwind 3-night, 4-day extravaganza, every detail was orchestrated to perfection. We touched down in San Diego, hopped into a sleek sports car from the rental company, and seamlessly made our way to a charming rented house adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park. Picture this: gazing at the Milky Way Galaxy beneath the night sky in the backyard. The next morning kicked off with a rendezvous over coffee with the Rangers, exploring Joshua Tree National Park and retracing the steps my late son took in photos sent ahead of time. A quick lunch fueled us for a mesmerizing drive through the Mojave Desert, reaching Las Vegas just in time for an unforgettable evening with our Usher Residency VIP Package. Our Sunday crescendoed with an awe-inspiring performance by the Jabbawockeez dance group, topped off with a meet-and-greet. Every moment, from start to finish, was a testament to meticulous planning and expert execution.

Embarking on a cruise when my sons were 12 and 6 became the highlight of their childhood summers. The eldest delved into late-night adventures with newfound friends, mastering the ship's secrets within hours and enjoying the friendships he until the late hours each night. Meanwhile, the youngest found bliss in the ship's kids club, where a dedicated struggle emerged, eat with us in the dining hall or eat the buffet in the kids club. His loyalty to the private buffet of endless chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese proved unyielding.
