Embracing Adventure: A Retiree's Journey from IT to Travel Expert
Once immersed in the world of Information Technology, I've now embarked on a new adventure in the travel industry. I love helping people and I've found an extraordinary opportunity in the travel industry so my journey is to help as many people as I can to experience their travel goals.
Throughout my life, I've naturally become the go-to trip planner for friends and family, crafting numerous memorable vacations. My passion for motor sports, particularly Drag Racing and World of Outlaws sprint car races, has taken me to various destinations along the East Coast.
One memorable experience was when I organized a bus trip from Reading, Pennsylvania, to Washington D.C. for a conference. It was a testament to my ability to coordinate seamless travel experiences for groups with diverse preferences.
My adventurous spirit doesn't stop at organized trips. Once, after a night of indulgence, a friend and I impulsively decided to drive from Pennsylvania to Yakima, Washington. That spontaneous three-and-a-half-day journey epitomized the carefree spirit of youth.
Camping has been a constant in my life, from tent camping to traveling in a Class A motor home. Myrtle Beach was a favored destination, where our motor home became our home away from home, providing cherished memories until my move to New Mexico.
Transitioning to the travel industry felt like a natural progression for someone with a deep-seated love for exploration.
I am grateful for the trust placed in me as a travel adviser, guiding clients through the vast and exciting world of travel.
With warm regards,
John
