My name is Rocky Dimico, Owner and Travel Agent for Flights and Fables. I grew up reading books about myths, legends, and lore. I have always been a huge fan of Fantasy books and movies, with Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter being two of my favorites.  When they finally made the Lord of the Rings trilogy into movies, I was so amazed at how they created Middle-Earth. After I discovered that they were filmed in New Zealand, I made it the number one place on my bucket list. I was finally able to make it there a few years ago, and it exceeded my expectations.  While there it occured to me that I wanted to find a way to share this amazing experience with others, and the idea of Flights and Fables was born.The same was true with the Harry Potter studio tour in London. I was so impressed with the experience that I had to go twice. I've tried to turn my love of all things fantasy into an ever growing travel adventure list. Every country has a story to tell and some of my favorites were: following in the footsteps of Vlad the Impaler in Romania; Exploring the mysteries of ancient sites in Stonehenge and Newgrange; and Studying Viking lore in Scandinavia.Let me work with you to build your dream fantasy vacation!
