In April 2005, I joined Clark Travel after 27 years in the insurance industry. One of my nicknames when I worked in insurance was "Cruise Queen." Each time I planned a vacation it was cruise to somewhere: the Caribbean, Alaska, and Europe.

My first trip after joining the agency was a river cruise. Traveling on the river is a relaxing way to see the sights.

You may ask why I am qualified to help you plan your trip. My response would be that my experiences while traveling in Europe, the United States, and the Caribbean have given me first-hand knowledge that I can relate back to my clients.

I can assist you in all your travel to create happy travel memories for years to come. My planning can include booking airfare, hotels, transfers, private tours or sightseeing, even restaurant suggestions.

On our 3rd trip to Alaska, I told my husband we did not have to do any tours except for one—a trip to Neets Bay to see the bears! We took a float plane and then hiked in to the fish ladders where the salmon and bear were.

I will always remember the guide humorously telling us if the bears approach us, you kick the person standing next to you in the knee so you can run faster than them! To this day, my husband and still talk about this amazing experience we had seeing the bears and how picky the bears were about the salmon they ate and not us gawking tourists.

This is the kind of memory I want to help create for you.

I can customize a trip for almost any preferences. For instance, 3 years ago a new client walked into our office and state he wanted to go to Italy. Great, I thought, Italy, no problem. In my mind, I was already thinking about hotels and sightseeing I could suggest when the client informed me that he does not fly.

Within 48 hours I created an itinerary that included 2 transatlantic sailings, transfer, hotels, and sightseeing. This year he celebrated his 3rd trip to Italy—all with no flights!
