I fell in love with travel the summer I spent in Switzerland in high school. My college graduation trip was to Spain where I planned a trip to many of the places I had studied in Spanish class.
From that point I continued to travel to Europe almost every year. I have been to 36 states and 44 countries:; 22 in Europe and 22 in North & Central America. In 2005 I took my first cruise and have since cruised over 20 times.
In January 2014 I joined with a host travel agency and began the experience of becoming a travel consultant. I have obtained specialist destination certifications from:

Chreyl coordinated a surprise trip for my 50th birthday with my husband. It was an amazing trip to Puerto Rico with my adult children and my sister (a total surprise). All details were covered, so I had no idea (I am very hard to surprise)! She is currently helping us with a possible trip planned for December 2015.

When my daughter and I decided to make a side trip to France from Ireland, I knew I would need a travel agent's help. We had been to Ireland multiple times, but not to France. In searching for an agent online, I was hard-pressed to find one with their own European travel experiences. When I found Cheryl Kaufman, it was a perfect match for us. Because she knows Paris so well, she gave us sound direction and advice. She planned a wonderful stress-free trip. I gave her a list of side trips we wanted to go on and she set up the tours in advance. She selected the perfect hotel for us, a small modern place tucked on a quiet side street. If (hopefully when) we return to Paris this will be the hotel of choice. Public transportation was conveniently located near the hotel which was a great help for us, first time Paris visitors. I will definitely enlist the services of Cheryl through Clear Day Travel again for trips in and out of the US. She is a gem!

I am helping to organize a group trip that has developed very quickly. We had a short turnaround and threw some curveballs - hoping to all depart on the same flight (eleven people with less than two weeks of lead time) but with different return dates. This was a heavy lift, but Cheryl handled it with persistence and grace.

Cheryl was a joy to work with. With just a little information about our dates, location and likes, Cheryl planned a vacation for our extended family (Grandparents, Children and Grandchildren - total of 11) for Walt Disney World in August 2014. Her expert familiarity with WDW provided fabulous choices, tips and suggestions. Cheryl was very helpful in arranging dinner reservations for our large party, working through the navigation of the new WDW "My Disney Experience" system and making minor changes along the way. We are already looking forward to another trip to be planned by Cheryl.

I was given Cheryl's contact information about six months ago and so wish I had it years ago! Cheryl has gone above and beyond all of my expectations. She returns e-mails promptly and provides me with many different options. She has helped me and saved me hundreds of dollars (I have priced myself) with last minute trips for funerals/unexpected travel. She recently sent my husband and I to one of the most beautiful destinations on a budget. She works with your wallet to get you the most vacation for your dollar. I plan to remain loyal to Cheryl until she retires which is hopefully no time soon. You can put ALL of you travel trust in Cheryl!!!!

Planning an active trip to Italy was our plan. Cheryl knew all about the hiking company we wanted to use. She made all the reservations from the air tickets to the local train tickets throughout our trip. She gave me helpful advice on which limo services to use, how to navigate the train system and found very convenient hotel choices. We really did not have to think or worry about a thing. There were no surprises or problems that we encountered because Cheryl did all of the in depth planning for us. Once she knew the type of vacation we were looking for she did her research, met with us to show us all the choices and made all of our wishes come true. She was instantly available for any questions or concerns we had about our trip. She was an excellent agent ...I would never use anyone other than Cheryl for future trip planning.

Cheryl planned a fantastic trip to Oahu, Hawaii, for my husband, three boys, and me. We weren't sure where to stay and she recommended Disney Aulani. We loved it there. She also booked us a tour of the island with a private tour guide which was the highlight of our trip. She also arranged for surfing lessons for our boys on the North Shore and printed out possible daily itineraries for other possible trips or places we might visit while we were there. The

Cheryl is an amazing travel agent who is considerate, efficient and willing to work around the restrictions I gave her. She had a quick turn around time and asked pointed questions in the beginning to ascertain what was most important to me while traveling. Cheryl goes above and beyond what is expected in a travel agent by clarifying issues and offering suggestions which I had not even thought about. She was willing to do research for me and came up with an excellent plan which met all of my travel needs.
