Vacationista and Cruise Specialist

After more than 22 years as a Project Manager working for fortune 100 companies, I decided to combine my knowledge and experience with my passion for travel and became a travel agent or as I prefer to call myself a Vacationista and Cruise Specialist.  Vacationista echoes my enthusiasm for travel from the start of planning through experiencing the journey of the vacation.  Cruise Specialist because I love cruising and I think its a great way to help people visit multiple destinations in one vacation.   

Working on Global Projects for more than 16 years has given me the opportunities to travel to places I never imagined visiting like China and Malaysia.  Over the last 10 years, I've also visited Australia, French Polynesia, Costa Rica, England, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Malta, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, and many islands in the Caribbean.  I've experienced new and different cultures and met wonderful, interesting people who have challenged me to think differently and open myself up to the experience.

In 2008, I took two friends on a two week vacation to China where I was able to show them all the reasons why I am so fascinated with that country.  One of the many highlights of this trip was spenting a day with a local tea farmer in Hangzhou where we learned all about picking and drying tea.  It was after returning home from this trip that I realized I should follow my passion and join the travel industry.  Then on a trip to Tahiti in 2009 I met Betty Crovo, owner of Triumph Travel.  We shared many stories of our travel adventures and she invited me to join her agency.  She's been a wonderful teacher and helped me navigate the travel industry.  

I enjoy planning travel adventures with people who love the process of planning but don't have the time themselves or they really want the advice from a person who has been where they want to go. 

Having achieved a Master's degree in Project Management in 2007, I understand the importance of education.  I've obtained Cruise Lines International Association's (CLIA) Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) certification.

I have known, used and recommended Laura Fell many times over the years for her services in travel and vacation planning and I am happy to say that I have not had one bad comment or complaint made about her. In fact, most of the people I have recommended her to, have now made her their "go-to" travel agent, planner, advisor, and Laura has become a trusted friend to them as well. When it comes to helping anyone plan their dream vacation, cruise, even a golf outing for 2 or 200, Laura Fell has always delivered, and with that delivery came her professionalism, courteous attitude, and her ready smile every step of the way. She tries to absorb as much of the stress involved in trip planning, while keeping an eye on the client's budget, and will work in getting the best deal possible. This is how she has set herself apart from every other agent I know, and this is how I also know that she will be around for a long time.

Laura is a very special agent. She listens to you and asks many questions. And she does her homework - thoroughly. She helped us design a trip to France and Italy that not only fit into our financial needs but also our emotional needs. Laura prepared multiple options for us for each step in the vacation and helped us weigh the pros and cons of each. She also was very proficient with all of the details - especially the tiny ones that you yourself would probably not think of. She is well traveled herself and knows what is important and what pitfalls you need to avoid. Everything about our trip was perfect. We would work with Laura again on any vacation project we have - and know that we will have a first class experience, even if we do not pay the first class rate.

Making My Dreams Come True

Laura has booked 3 absolutely perfectly FANTASTIC vacations for me, China, Costa Rica and Australia - 11/2012 and all I've ever had to do was pay and show up. She is proactive, thoughtful, responsive and generous. Laura understands what it means to go above and beyond when it comes to service. My vacations would not have been nearly as exciting and interesting had I booked with another agent. She takes her time to get to know your needs and wants and along the way helps you to distinguish the differences between the two.
