2022 Groat Family Trip to Walt Disney World

My name is Amy and I best identify as a wife, mom of 4, animal lover, and volunteer, with a dry sense of humor and a deep rooted love for Disney World. I grew up in Dallas and have lived in Fort Worth for over 20 years. I fell in love with Fort Worth during my time at TCU and haven’t left since.

I left the corporate world over 10 years ago to stay home with my kids.  It’s amazing how quickly those years have passed, but I’ve found myself growing as a person and doing things I never thought I would (or could!) during this time.  The days are long and the years short, but to fill my days I found myself volunteering at my children’s pre-school.  This led into being the Parents Club President at pre-school, then a PTA Board Member in elementary school for 4 years, and serving as PTA President.  I have always been a shy, introverted soul who never identified as a leader, and some days I wonder “who am I?”  These years of volunteering are where a great deal of personal growth happened and confidence was built. I’ve met and befriended so many wonderful people in my PTA journey that I never would have known on a personal level otherwise. I hope to do the same as a travel agent and continue to serve people in a way that doesn’t cost them a penny, but fills my tank because I’m still helping people.

I am a full service travel agent specializing in Disney and Universal vacations, but I am eager to help plan your next vacation to ANYWHERE! I am constantly learning about different destinations and strive to be a travel specialist that people can trust and truly enjoy working with. I am organized and an avid learner, and if I don’t know the answer to your questions you can bet I’ll find out. I know travel can be expensive, especially with large families like mine, and I have a new found passion for learning some tips and tricks to planning amazing vacations on a budget, especially when it comes to Disney World!
