I think it’s important to know who a little about me. I have a life-long passion for travel beginning with my first cruise at age 10. Cruising became my joy - and later my career for the last 35 years. In 1988, I transitioned from stay at home mom to travel agent then, in 1989, to manager of Kansas City’s first travel agency specializing in cruises, The Cruise Store. In 1997, I started my own luxury travel company- Cruise Dreams. Our focus is cruising the oceans and rivers of the world as well as ALL inclusive land resorts and tours.
I have built my entire company on referraals which we find as the best compliment and have loyal clients throughout the world!
Other milestones:
1989 – Escorted 1st Group of 125 passengers with local radio host
1997 – Opened my own niche travel agency – Cruise Dreams
1998 – 1st full ship charter
1999 – 1st resort “buyout” (booked entire resort for a group)
2000 – 1st group of 2500 passengers
2001 – 350th cruise (I stopped counting after this one!)
2015 -2023- Our creatively designed TRIPS OF A LIFETIME to some of my favorite hidden gems throughout the world, have become one of our most popular trips year after year. I host 3 of these trips a year and they always sell out!

Italian Road Rally, wine tasting, 6-course lunch
A food industry leader took VPs on a luxury cruise ship for their next sales meeting. A special excursion in Portofino, Italy gave it the WOW. Each couple got their own vintage Alfa Romeo sports car and personalized road rally packet then ended the rally with a private outdoor wine tasting/tour with a 6-course lunch at a boutique style vineyard.
Private Cocktail party with a twist in London
While the London Eye Ferris Wheel is an extraordinary visit all by itself, I reserved all 32 capsules to make the private cocktail party a WOW for the employees of a well-know software company! A private butler, champagne, canapes & caviar were a resounding THANK YOU for a successful product launch.

Other Travel Agent Couldn’t Stop Laughing!
In Aug. of 1997, our extended family decided to take a Hawaiian Cruise for Christmas – yes, that year! Our regular travel agent couldn’t pull that rabbit out of the hat, nor could anyone else.
One agent stopped laughing long enough to tell us that if anyone could get us enough rooms & flights, to Hawaii, on such short notice, it would be his friend, Kim.
Kim worked her magic, booked our Christmas cruise & has booked over 20 cruise for our family since then. She even escorted one of our Alaskan cruises & babysat some of the little ones so their parents could take a break.

We have had the opportunity to travel to many magnificent destinations with Kim and her team. We have become spoiled! Kim goes out of her way to make sure every detail is taken care of. We have someone waiting for us every step of the way. She has someone waiting for you once you step off the plane to guide you through the check-in process, the day-to-day, and back to your departure. She sends out itineraries of what to expect each day and packing lists. In addition, she schedules private events for her clients, such as privately guided tours, cocktail parties, private dining experiences, cooking classes, wine tastings, or something cultural depending on the region of the world you are in. Traveling to hidden gems - everlasting memories

My family and I have been clients of Kim and Cruise Dreams for more than twenty years. We were introduced to Kim through a fellow employee. Over the years one thing we have thoroughly enjoyed is "The Trips of a Lifetime". Kim selects special itineraries. She adds so many additional things that a regular cruise or trip would not offer. We have detailed brochures of what we will see and experience. She has shared hidden gems in many of the places we have traveled. We enjoyed pizza making in Itlay as well as Pasta and pesto making in Greece.
Kim and her travel team join us for these adventures. A special addition to our trip is having her host the trips. We love Kim, Tenley, Jann, and others that take care of all the details.

I have been fortunate enough to join Kim on three of her "Sail Away with Cruise Dreams" programs (Mediterranean, Alaska, Australia & New Zealand,) and cannot imagine traveling without her expertise. She never misses a detail. Hotel reservations, transfers, cruise accommodations, embarkation, shipboard activities, excursions are just as they should be. Plus she always has extra bonuses for us like shipboard credit, these special excursions she arranges, etc., etc., etc. She misses nothing and keeps you informed every step of the way. You can tell she's "been there, done that" many, many times. The only thing Kim loves more than having a good time is seeing her clients have a good time and she does everything in her power to make that happen. Yes, you can book your cruise yourself but why in the world would you want to?

My husband and I have been very fortunate to have traveled to many destinations both in North America and around the World. We often travel as a couple but in the past, have hosted Customer groups of 2 to 3 hundred people. We always knew, when planning these trips, that when we picked up the phone to contact Kim at Cruise Dreams that our trip would be efficiently handled, with a smile, down to the last detail. Kim and her staff take very seriously the importance of seeing that their clients are well looked after and they are always available to help whether it is before or during the trip. No problem is left unattended to and you know that Kim and her team will always get back to you promptly. We have planned many trips with Cruise Dreams and have never been disappointed. I'm a whiz on the internet and I thought it would be easy to book our cruise myself. It was mind boggling. Of course, every thing looked wonderful and every ship/cruise line had reviewers who loved it and hated it. By the time I got done researching, I had a headache and couldn't make a decision.
Kim came to the rescue. Some friends who had been booking with Kim for over ten years convinced me to give her a call. She steered us to the best time to go, the best ship for our specific tastes and gave us great advice about which excursions weren't worhth the time and even helped us arrange something special.
I thought I needed to book it myself online to get a great price but Kim had the same price plus extras! We're going on one of her SailAways next year and I can't wait for the special excursions she's arranged, included in our price.
I love working with her on my vacations. I'm even sending my son and daughter-in-law to be to her to plan their honeymoon - shows you just how much I trust her!

Kim cares about her clients in many different ways. First, she wants to know what products are most suitable to each traveler. Second, she wants to ensure that the product selected will meet the expectations of the traveler. Third, she anticipates issues and problems e.g. the need for a visa that may take 60 days to obtain. Fourth, before and after the trip, she communicates with the traveler to ensure that there are no issues and follows up to learn from the traveler. We traveled around the world and dealt with many travel agents. Kim at Cruise Dreams is the TOP! I recommended her to several friends; they were unanimous about the quality of service.

Kim, Michael & the Cruise Dream staff are absolutely phenomenal. They treat you as if you are the only guest by answering emails, phone calls or texts quickly. We feel so pampered since everything is taken care of. All of trips have been first class and within a reasonable budget.
