Hello, my name is Rita Ropski, and I'm a home-based travel agent with 9 months of experience in the travel business. I have always had a passion for travel, and I love nothing more than helping my clients create unforgettable travel experiences.

I have always planned our vacations from romantic trips with my husband and I and also family vacations with our four children (now grown). When I met my husband, I had not traveled anywhere but the Jersey shore and back home with my parents and siblings. My husband's family flew to lots of places especially since my husband was in the Army. My first time flying was exciting but also scary for me. Since then, I have visited many places with my husband. Beach vacations, all inclusive resorts and Disney World with our children were the best places we enjoyed to visit. 

In 2019, I began to think about travel more and was considering taking a course at my community college on travel. The course was starting in March 2020. Well, COVID happened and the college never brought the course back. In 2021, I began looking again. There are so many travel agencies that my head was turning. I chose a couple of host travel agencies and sat through there presentations. I was still hesitant about making this move after being in health care most of my career. 

Last year 2022, I chose a company with 70 years in the travel industry and I cannot tell you enough how happy I am I did this career change. I see vacations from a different perspective now. Looking for what clients may look for in a vacation. I really enjoy learning about culture, food, tours, and most of all the excitement of planning magical moments for me and also my clients.
