As a travel agent for more than 50 years, I believe my greatest asset is my personal travel experience and in-depth knowledge of destinations that I love. I have traveled extensively in Italy and have fallen in love with the sights, the friendly people, the food, and the art. Through my travels, I have developed an extensive list of contacts, vendors, and resources. When I’m not on my way to my next exciting destination, I live in Tampa, Florida, and I love sharing my love of travel with my clients.
Another favorite destination of mine is Ireland, because of the friendly, informal vibe, the food, and the natural beauty. Additionally, I am a dedicated foodie, and I have completed advanced courses in art and history and consider myself a museum expert.
My greatest fulfillment comes from helping travelers with unique needs, crafting vacations that target their special interests, and removing barriers to their travel experience. I once arranged a trip for a wheelchair-bound client that included custom-height beds for ease and comfort and a guided night-time golf cart tour to a Roman fountain!
I pride myself on being able to think outside the box and rise to the many challenges that travel can present. I understand that personal desires take priority, and I am always there for my clients, not only during the planning stage but throughout the entire trip.
One of my most challenging experiences was a trip to Morocco that I planned for an adult daughter and her senior father. Sadly, while she was on a tour one afternoon, he passed away while napping in his hotel room. I immediately helped her with insurance arrangements, transport of his remains, and most importantly, provided virtual emotional support during an extremely difficult time.
I sell myself as a reliable, knowledgeable, and sincere advisor. I always recommend travel experiences that satisfy a client's special interests, not necessarily only well-known sites. I work hard to add a distinctive flavor to each itinerary and can do this because I thoroughly understand the intricacies of custom travel arrangements.

We first met Binnie to plan a trip more than 17 years ago and have utilized her every since. Binnie's planning, attention to detail, knowledge and experience contributed extensively to our wonderful "buckIet list" Greek Isle cruise followed by a few days in Italy. She coordinated not only the cruise and flights, but ground transportation, accommodations as well as private tours and made relevant recommendations for all aspects of this trip. We started planning this trip almost a year in advance and she never failed to miss a deadline and kept us informed all along the way. We would highly recommend Binnie for any of your travel needs.

Italy Trip-of-a-Lifetime!

If you are planning a trip to Italy, you definitely should contact Binnie Coppersmith at Travelworld! I was planning a trip to Italy for my family of 5, and was referred to Binnie who is their "Italy Specialist". She did not disappoint! At our first meeting I described where we wanted to go and some of the sites that we did not want to miss. Binnie immediately started putting together an itinerary based on our interests, while also offering suggestions along the way. She tweaked our itinerary so that we flew in to Naples and flew home from Venice, and organized our train tickets, hotels and tours in each of the cities we visited - Positano, Rome, Florence and Venice. We had the perfect mix of organized tours and free time. When we left Tampa, we had all of our train tickets in hand so that negotiating the Italian trains was painless. All of the tours that Binnie booked for us were excellent with guides showing up on time and ready to go. We skipped the long lines at the major attractions, a definite plus when you saw the crowds that were waiting in the hot Italian sun! The hotels that Binnie chose for us were small, "boutique" type hotels that offered spotless rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious morning breakfasts. All were in excellent locations within close walking distance to attractions, restaurants and shopping. In fact, my husband and I were delighted to be upgraded to a luxurious junior suite at our Florence hotel - at no additional cost to us! Before leaving on our trip, Binnie met with my entire family several times, so that my daughters - ages 23,20 and 16 - could be included in the planning (and excitement) of this trip. When my husband, who is working in Saudi Arabia, needed a last minute change to his flight, Binnie handled it easily and still made sure that both of our flights landed in Naples close to the same time. We couldn't have enjoyed our trip to Italy any more than we did, and we are so happy that we chose Binnie to plan it!

I would and do trust Binnie implicitly. She tells me frankly when my ideas are unrealistic and provides a better alternative. She gives me all I need to make my travels as easy as possible. Binnie keeps me informed but does not bother me with endless questions. I have referred many friends and colleagues to her for their travels and she has never disappointed. I dread the day she decides to retire! Her wealth of knowledge could not be replaced.

I started using Binnie 15 years ago and have booked at least one vacation a year. She has made travel arrangements for us to China, Africa, So.America, Canada, Russia and many parts of Europe. She has arranged for cruises, touring, driving, and handled every aspect of the trip. She is always available whether in the planning process or for those occasional issues that occur during the trip. She gets to know her clients, their tastes, capabilities, and makes sure she incorporates that into the planning. I don't travel without Binnie involved in the planning.

We can't thank Binnie enough for all of the work she put in to making our Paris/London trip so perfect. Each time we reminisce about a day or experience we always think of her and her part in making that possible. From the start she included our 12 year old son in the planning and still found a way to make the adult portion of the trip romantic and exciting. We've traveled the world extensively and none of those we have dealt with come close to having knowledge and service that Binnie has and provides down to every single last detail -- just superior! We will use her again and again.

Incredible Cruise

My husband and I have taken at least 10 "Binnie" trips over a period of 20 years, some just for the two of us and some with as many as 4 other couples. With her careful planning we have visited many European countries as well as the Canadian Rockies and Hawaii. All have been wonderful experiences giving us the flavor of the area and the country. One recent trip that Binnie planned for us and four other couples was a Baltic Cruise. She arranged the flights for several of us, all with different airlines from different cities. When my husband and I had to cancel a flight, she was even able to get our money refunded! The cruise itself was great but what made the trip so special were the enhancements that she arranged. The hotels at the beginning and end of the cruise were perfect - well-appointed and in good locations. We had private guides in several of the cities and even had drivers that met us in South Hampton and took us to London with a tour of a monastery on the way. Perhaps the highlight among many was our three-day tour of St. Petersburg, Russia, with a very impressive young woman who shared her knowledge of the culture and history of the city. As with every trip, Binnie worked with us to make sure that the trip met all our expectations. She’s the best!

My husband and I have taken at least a dozen trips (mostly to Europe) planned with Binnie's help over the past 15 years and have recommended her to many of our friends who were just as delighted with her travel expertise and helpfulness as we have been. She takes time to learn what we like to do and the way we like to travel and has found some real gems for us to enjoy. Her services for us have included recommending when, where, and how best to get from point A to point B, finding lovely hotels--mostly charming inns and smaller boutique hotels with lots of character, advising us on things to see and do at our destinations, suggesting where to spend and where to splurge on our trips, providing tips on restaurants and sightseeing, arranging for tour guides and private drivers, pre-purchasing tickets for museums and other activities, and much more. She was able to help/advise us when we encountered problems during travel--a compromised credit card, a death in the family back in the States requiring us to return home early, a volcanic eruption that precluded air travel during one of our trips, and other less dramatic issues. With her help we have become seasoned travelers who have been many places and done many things I never dreamed I would ever get to do. My only hesitation in recommending Binnie is that I selfishly want her to always have time to plan for me!

Sicily Adventure

Binnie planned a wonderful trip for my husband and I to explore Sicily. We wanted a combination of local culture,food and wine, and history. Binnie organized the perfect trip paying special attention to the things that were most important to us; such as skipping most of the big cities and concentrating on smaller towns and villages. We had several nights at a winery complete with cooking class, a hotel with a first rate view of Agrigento ruins and we were in the heart of Catania for our big city experience. Binnie also offered us plenty of different day to day activities to choose from once were arrived. All in all a great tour of Sicily with a nice balance of structured and flexible time.

This was special. When I decided to take a father and son trip to the "homeland" of Croatia I knew just who to call - Binnie Coppersmith! We have worked with Binnie in the past and I knew I could count on her to take care of the details. She took the time to understand our travel needs and proceeded to put together a trip that will be remembered for a lifetime. She arranged air travel, accommodations, in-country transportation, excursions and dining to fit our budget. Most importantly her connections and experience enabled her give recommendations and obtain pricing that helped us stretch our dollar. She even checked-in on us when we were in Croatia! My family has been using Binnie for over 30 years. She is so familiar to our likes and dislikes she has arranged vacations for us with just minimal direction. As we have aged cheapest is not always the best! It is now the creature comforts that count. Takes care of the smallest detail we would never have thought about. Her knowledge of the intricate travel details that are particular to a specific region's customs and advising us ahead of time what to expect has proven to be invaluable. From where we now live, we do most of our travel planning with her via email or the phone. Only to visit her office to pick up our travel documents. When our daughter lived in Africa on and off for 10 yrs,. she would book air tickets finding the cheapest fare with the least number of plane changes. We are grateful for all her help over the years.

binnie has been my travel agent for the last 50 years, both business and pleasure. she's always come up w/ fabulous cruise deals....Tahiti, Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska, central America, mexico+++++++. she did a great job in an emergency when we were robbed in central America. big help on all my business travel all over the u.s. I book w/ binnie instead of direct.
