I've had the chance to visit Fairbanks, Alaska during the peak time to see the Aurora Borealis. It was also just in time to catch the Ice Sculpture Exhibition, best girls trip hands down. Some of the cruise shore excursions that I've experienced involve snorkeling around the Cayman Islands, jet skiing in the Caribbean Sea, and hiking to the blue hole in Jamaica.
