Riding a Camel in Egypt
Riding a Camel in Egypt

Do you love to travel? I do too!! That is why over  20 years ago I began a journey to explore how I could pursue the job I love. In 1999 I resigned from my accounting position and entered the travel industry working with airline, cruise, hotel, car, and motorcoach travel accommodations. Every aspect of travel is different and unique and I can give you recommendations based upon my many years of working and traveling on each type of travel.

Cruises are of special interest to me, my husband and I have been on over sixteen cruises to varying destinations from all parts of the Caribbean to the Panama Canal, a Mediterranean Ocean Cruise with Viking Cruise Line, and a River Cruise to Normandy on the Seine with Viking Cruise Line.

Looking for an exotic destination, I have been to the Galapagos Islands and slept beneath a mosquito net by the Amazon River, and went Cayman hunting on the river at night. How about Egypt, I rode a camel there and visited the pyramids and King Tutt's artifacts at the Cairo Museum.

Ireland was also a favorite of mine because of the people. Families get together at the Pubs at night and sing and dance and they include everyone in their family celebration.

Alaska I like to say is a bucket list destination, everyone needs to visit this great state once. I have been there three times, twice on a cruise only and once on a land and cruise package. One of those times I also brought a group of forty with me who performed music and danced the night away on the ship. The land and cruise combo is a great way to see Alaska as Alaska is such a large state that they really are two different experiences on the land vs. the cruise tour. On the water you experience fishing villages that make their way of life from fishing, the land area has a long history of pioneers and explorers of the wide-open areas. The land is your best opportunity to see moose, bear, elk and dall sheep. The sea is your best opportunity to see humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, and sea birds.

Hawaii is a beautiful destination, I saw it on a Norwegian Cruise where you went to the islands during the day and used the cruise ship as a floating hotel, what a fun way to travel!

Let me share my experiences with you! I love to travel and I know you will too!!
