Welcome! My name is John Cook, I am a proud husband and father of 1 living in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. Though I am new to travel planning as a profession, travel has always been an important part of my life. The look of my travel has changed over the years, from lake regions to beach towns, and more recently to theme park destinations! 

Disney for me started with my wife. I admit, before her, I had no interest in Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, movies, or anything else Disney had to offer. What is a vacation if I can’t fish everyday (which you can at Disney World actually!) or get lost in the woods? Disney World is her favorite place, and I wanted her to have the engagement she deserved. So, without her knowing I planned a trip for us and our six-month-old. I woke her up just hours before we needed to leave the house, told her that she was not going to work and instead we were heading to Disney! Because of the excitement, my proposal the next morning was also a surprise!! 

Planning that trip was fun, but being there changed my life. I was hooked from the moment I got on property. The smiles, the smells, the sounds, the colors, the cast members, the characters, the art, the creativity, the architecture, I can go on and on! But me, Mr. Disney Is Not For Me, is full on addicted!!! And it’s made me realize how important it is to see as much of what this world has to offer. 

Traveling to fishing destinations and other outdoors activities still rates high on my list of importance as well. From bass fishing in the 1,000 Islands region to snook fishing in Naples FL, I am always eager for the next adventure. Hiking new backwoods areas and following sections of the Appalachian trail are always a hit in my book. Time spent out west exploring the open plains while watching pronghorn and mule deer graze in all directions still takes my breath away as well. I can go on and on, but my point is I just love to travel!
