This great southern city wears two hats. The most recognizable one is history, the second it's a modern city. Although ranked as one of the oldest cities in the US, they are able to wear both hats equally.
Some favorites include, Fort Sumter, the marketplace and just walking through the streets. As a first responder the North Charleston Fire Museum and Educational Center is one of my top 5 locations. Many of the displays are hands on equally fun for all ages
