Uniting generations with experiences

Travel agent Anthony Reel shares his passion for adventure in every booking – especially when it comes to cruises. Whether working his magic for seasoned cruisers or soothing the way for first-timers, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from 15 years as a cruise aficionado.

The travel bug bit Anthony at an early age, starting life as an “Army brat” and then serving in the Air Force before settling in Minnesota. He now lives in the Phoenix area and explains how helping others plan their precious vacation days was a natural progression for him.

“After years of helping co-workers, family and friends book their travels, I realized how relaxed they all were to not have to worry about their planning needs,” he notes.

Eliminating travel stress is a number-one priority for Anthony, who acknowledges the anxiety and fear that can come from unknown variables. He remembers feeling overwhelmed on his own first cruise and now works hand-in-hand with clients to remove obstacles. “I view each interaction as a partnership,” he states. “We share the excitement and concerns.”

As a travel agent, every booking is special and unique – yet one stands out to Anthony as a real example of what vacations are all about. He booked a cruise for three families connected through the impending adoption of a foster child. The cruise was a chance for everyone involved to get to know one another and begin building relationships around the child.

“Life is about experiences, memories and relationships,” says Anthony. “I try to bring people with us on every trip we embark upon. We want groups of friends and families at our anniversaries, birthdays, holidays ... because those relationships get stronger when we all get to build experiences together.”

When not cruising or helping others plan their dream vacations, Anthony enjoys fostering children, playing the piano, and his hobby job of being an official scorekeeper for minor league baseball in Arizona.
