Meet Nicole Cody – Franchise Owner & Travel Advisor

My journey from passionate vacationer to travel agency owner began in 2019, when my husband and serial entrepreneur, Jamie, suggested that we become franchise owners with CruiseOne/Dream Vacations and World Travel Holdings. Before this, we had about a decade of experience as franchise owners in another industry and I had 15+ years of experience in the corporate world. My career had taken me on exciting international trips to places like Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and the Netherlands, and these experiences with new places and cultures ultimately helped to ignite a passion within me to dive deeper into the world of travel.

Over the past few years, I’ve learned that my passion for travel comes from the joy of helping others create their own unique adventures, vacations, and experiences. Through this role, I have the honor of helping write memorable chapters in the lives of others by way of travel – be it a bucket list trip that went from dream to reality, a getaway with the gals, or a celebration cruise that brings together 4 generations of family. Some of the best memories and moments of my life have been while on vacation and it’s truly remarkable to play a small part in helping others do the same.

I believe in high quality and personalized service. That’s why I approach every client’s travel plan as if it were my own. This commitment to personalized care and complete attention to detail sets the bar for the excellence that my team and I deliver for each client's vacation. I lead a dynamic team of 7 travel advisors, each with their unique specialties and expertise. Our team is located throughout the United States and share a deep love for all things travel-related.

My personal specialties include cruise vacations (adult, solo, and family) and group travel. I have personally visited 13 countries and sailed on 10 different cruises, including cruises with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, MSC, and Holland America.

I hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Human Resource Development, accomplishments that have served me well in the business of travel planning. I also hold the certification of Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) from CLIA and a Certified Travel Advisor (CTA) through The Travel Institute.

Traveling to me is about connecting with different environments, learning new things, and building memories. I truly believe that travel is the catalyst for personal growth, a break from the routine, and, of course, a source of unforgettable moments.

On a personal note, I'm a mom to four amazing children and a sports enthusiast as my family are proud season ticket holders for the MLS soccer team, St. Louis City SC.

Favorite Excursion: When in Alaska last summer, we took a boat trip from Juneau to Tracy Arm Fjord and Sawyer Glacier. It was stunning and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Hundreds of seals – mamas and babies – were on icebergs and swimming around. It was incredible.

Fun Fact: I’m a book lover and managed to read 100 books in 2023.
