Manager - Adventure & Leisure Travel Specialist
I have been in the travel industry over twenty years and have extensive knowledge in planning incredible and memorable vacations. I’ve stayed current with the many new developments via training sessions and seminars. I have completed many specialist courses including Amresorts Master Agent, Princess Commodore, Aussie Specialist, and Disney Destination Genius. My travel knowledge is enhanced from my extensive journeys to such fascinating places as Costa Rica, Australia, Japan, Western Europe, Mexico, Caribbean and Hawaii. My goal is to focus on long lasting relationships with my clients and getting to know their preferences and expectations in order to provide them with the best travel experience possible. I have had the privilege of arranging trips that span from chartering a private yacht in the Galapagos, a sunset wedding in Jamaica, to a weekend stay in a luxury seaside resort in Lake Como.
Why I Travel
I LOVE to have adventures! “Adventure” (to me) is anything that has great ‘story potential’. It’s stuff that makes the highlight list at the end of the year. New experiences that stretch you, challenge you, get your heart pumping and makes you say “Holy crap! This is amazing!” at least once. Shark diving, cliff jumping, snorkeling, sky diving, ATVs, hiking, boating, climbing, crazy foods, new cultural experiences, etc. When you travel, opportunities for adventures often arise and since you’re already having so many new experiences there is a sense of “why not?” so you end up stepping outside of your comfort zone and having adventures you would never have at home.

84-Day Trip Around the World

For the summer between finishing college and prior to starting my full-time job, I sought Janice's help to complete an 84-day trip around the world. I came very prepared in knowing which tours I wanted to select in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, but Janice was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions, acquiring discounts, researching flights, and ensuring that I had everything I needed to complete my journey. Because I went to school out of state, most of my communication after the first few meetings were via email, and Janice was exceptionally prompt in responding quickly, succinctly, and effectively. This trip was something I had dreamed about for years, and Janice helped turn it into reality. She is very friendly and despite my relatively young age (24), she treated me with the same expect of a true adult rather than a "kid"/student like myself. My trip itself went even better than I could have hoped for, and I owe much of that to Janice's logistical efforts.

Janice has been wonderful to work with over the past few years. She has spent a lot of time planning and communicating options for two different senior spring breaks between 2022 and again for 2024 for multiple families attending each vacation. She has provided excellent knowledge and guidance of the areas along with listening to our goals of what we wanted to experience and to find a reasonable price point for the large groups. At all times she has been available to answer questions and ensure all families questions are answered in a timely manner. We planned each vacation around 6 months prior and Janice is always keeping us up to date on changes up to and even while we are on vacation assisting with anything we have needed or helping to direct our questions we came up with. I look forward to allowing her to plan future vacations for our family and we are grateful to have her looking out for us.

Our honeymoon has truly been the trip of a lifetime! Janice really is the best of the best. We told her what we wanted out of our trip and she knocked it out of the park and made it so easy. All of our transfers and transportation were pre-arranged so all we had to do was show up and enjoy our trip. She helped us pick the perfect cities for what we wanted to do and arranged any day trips we wanted. Every hotel she selected has been perfectly located with outstanding service and seaside pools (a must have for us lol) and a bottle of champagne or Prosecco waiting for us in the room. We wanted only small group tours and the guides and tours she offered have been awesome. In Capri and Pompeii we even ended up with private guides, which was wonderful as we could customize the tour and see as much or as little as we wanted. Every step of the trip went flawlessly as she coordinated every last detail for us. Thank you so much, Janice!

Diligent and experienced travel agent

We had the honor of working with Janice to plan our dream family vacation traveling to two different countries with many locations to see. I gave her the list and the hotels I wanted and she booked our adventures and drivers. We had see so many beautiful places. She suggested the travel insurance which thank God she did, I caught covid overseas and had to stay behind while my husband and children went back to the states. What could have been a nightmare scenario, she quickly acted got me a hotel got my airline ticket put on hold until I recovered, and once I did she sprang into action to get me a flight out the next day after recovering. We have so many solid memories from our trip and will definitely be using Janice again for our next family vacation to Japan.

I've used Janice for all of our major trips and my family has for years! She knows hidden deals and has amazing recommendations! She surprised us with a welcome greeter at the airport in MAUI and it was too cool and very welcoming it really made the trip get off to a really amazing start! Also- when flying long flights- the trip had really short connection time which was so nice to not have to wait forever in the airport before the next flight boarded! Janice is always a quick phone call away or an email and she is extremely responsive and knowledgeable!

Jamaica was wonderful!
Hi Janice, We all had a great time. Darin took our daughters deep sea fishing, and one of them reeled in a 5’, 42lb Wahoo fish! The Riu Negril was nice, but the nightly entertainment was not so good. Flying out of Lansing was great! Easy in and out. The weather was sunny & 85 degrees almost everyday. Thank you for all your help and another great vacation!
