I am a UK born National and moved to the USA in October 2006 with my husband. Since then we have had two beautiful children who are our pride and joy and in March 2017 we became US Citizens. I have a varied working background that has included many client focused roles and through these opportunities I have worked closely with people and built strong and lasting relationships.
I decided in May 2017, to go back to studying and become an independent Travel Consultant. I have always longed to work for myself and be in control of my own destiny. I love spending time with my family, travelling... obviously, and I am a huge Football fan!
So why work with me? I conduct my research and planning as if I am purchasing a trip for myself. I make multiple changes to fit my high expectations before I discuss my initial findings. I strive every day to ensure each and every one of my customers are completely satisfied. I am 110% client focused and I am a stickler for details, its the Virgo in me! I specialize in luxury destinations and ocean World cruises.

Never Travel Without Insurance

We worked with Jules for our trip home for Xmas holidays. Not only did she give us the best deal for our flights but also gave us various options for travel insurance which we always take out when travelling. On this occasion, my daughter and husband were taken ill just before our return journey and Jules was contactable throughout the extended time we were unable to fly to offer support and guidance of what we needs to do. Once our Insurance Claim was filed, Jules continued to give us regular updates as to each step of the process through to settlement and payment of our claim. From start to finish of your trip, Jules is with you every step of the way, even when things don’t go according to plan !

Best Vacation Ever!

Jules was a pleasure to work with in planning our first family vacation outside of the country. We had such a peace of mind knowing she had all the details covered. During the planning process she provided us with lots of options to choose from within our budget. She was always timely to respond and answer our questions. She checked in with us as our vacation time neared with lots of excursion options. While we were on vacation she was easily accessible when we wanted to make a change in our transfer back to the airport. Our kids told us this was the "best vacation ever" and we have to agree. We would highly recommend Jules and we look forward to working with her again on our next vacation.

Jules booked our all inclusive resort in Punta Cana this Spring Break. Jules went above and beyond to ensure we received what we wanted in terms of bedding configurations as we were travelling with our 14 year old son. She printed out all the documents required and made us a Travel packet, organized round trip transfers and even contacted the resort directly and organized a welcome gift and note from her company Dérive Vacations to be on our room on arrival. She was so thoughtful, handled all kinds of little details including reminding us to make sure passports were updated. She was a pleasure to work with. It was an effortless process from our end, and we were very grateful for her support. I would recommend Dérive Vacations as a 5 star company to work with for all of your Travel needs!

First family cruise

Jules has been such a pleasure to work with in planning our first family cruise. From initial planning of choosing our destination ship and room, scheduling of extras such as beverage package and waterpark, and accommodating all the changes due to covid cancellation and rescheduling, she has happily handled all of it for us confidently, while keeping us informed. Our 1st Cruise- Special Memories!

This was our family's first time using a travel agent and it made planning our vacation so easy. Jules was so quick to respond to all my questions, she made phone calls to ask questions (so I didn't have to wait on hold to speak with them), and pre-checked us in. She prepared a travel packet with all important information we would need, copies of passports, and included a travel checklist for packing. The week of traveling she texted to check in to make sure we were ready to travel and to answer any last minute questions. Jules is amazing and goes the extra mile to make sure your vacation goes smoothly. We highly recommend her! Thank you Jules for being phenomenal!

Norwegian Cruise handicapped

absolutely recommend Jules Lewis at Derive Vacations! My family (5) booked a Norwegian Cruise and Jules was great at giving advice and planning. The most helpful was the fact that we were traveling with my mother-in-law, who is handicapped, and being able to meet her needs. We had an excursion that she was able to go on to the beach and Jules helped with getting a wheelchair for her at the port. She also has an app that put EVERYTHING in that was so handy. It included each days itinerary and reminders for us so we weren't searching through emails or papers (which is what we are normally doing)! Jules made our trip worry-free and flawless! Thanks again!

20th Wedding Anniversary Trip

Jules is so easy to work with when booking your travel needs. She always goes above and beyond to find the best location and accommodations to meet your needs. She found the best excursions to explore and even requested a room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. She also surprised us with a gift of champagne and a Key West travel guide prior to our trip. Jules is a wonderful travel agent. She got us a great deal on our trip AND helped me secure reasonable travel insurance. She was so kind and thoughtful, sending me frequent check in and reminders before the trip to make sure we had updated passports, etc. And she put together a really nice care package for my kids with games and snacks to entertain them on the flight. Christmas break trip 2019

Jules is a great travel agent. We booked our cruise with Jules and she took care of every detail. She dropped a goody bag for our kids (which was great for our road trip) and had goodies eating for the adults once we arrived on the ship. Dream Vacation

Right from the start, she asked about our priorities and budget and helped develop a framework of what was to become a dream vacation. Jules was great to work with and created a trip of a lifetime for me and my family. She listened to my ideas and made suggestions that truly enhanced our trip (better to stay in Sorrento than Positano, stay in smaller hotels near transport and very walkable, etc). She took a very loose outline of our must-sees and dos and helped create an itinerary that catered to each member of our family. As an added bonus, we were greeted in each city (London, Paris, Sorrento, Rome) with a small personal gift from her, welcoming us to the area. She was available to us by text or message the entire time we were abroad and smoothed over any hiccups we encountered with ease, allowing us the freedom to enjoy ourselves while she attended to the details. The memories we created were truly priceless, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Jules again and recommend her services.

THE very best travel agent!

Jules has an incredible work ethic and attention to detail. We used her for 2 cruises on 2 different cruise lines, with a road trip to the FL Keys between the cruises. We have never met her in person as she was able to do everything for us through phone, email and text. She quoted us super prices that we weren't able to find on our own, and she was focused on crossing every t and dotting every i. Now I don't believe we could ever book another cruise without Jules Lewis. She's the BEST!

With this being our first international travel with Covid restrictions, Jules went above and beyond making this trip amazing. We felt completely confident that Jules was going to be able to handle any curve ball that came our way; and a few were thrown at us. She was able to accommodate some unforeseen travel changes with the resort as well as the airlines. She made what should have been an extremely stressful situation, a breeze. Wonderful Family Vacation!

She took time talking with us to find out what we were looking for and researched and identified multiple options that met our needs. Family Vacation

Jules booked our October Universal Studios trip. It was a birthday trip for our twin girls. Jules looked into activities, hotels and ticket options, so that we could decide on the best options for us. Once booked, she continued to follow up as new offerings became available. When it was time for our trip, she hand delivered gift bags filled with travel activities and snacks for my girls. Birthday balloons and well wishes greeted us as we entered our hotel room. Best Mother and Son Trip Ever

European Family Vacay of a LIFETIME!

Working with Jules has been the most personalized travel planning we have ever experienced; working for 9 months to plan an amazing 15 day, multi country trip to Europe, which included a week long Norwegian cruise. Jules was careful to understand the travel needs of our children and my mother traveling with us. She researched many small personalized tours at reasonable prices everywhere we would visit, including port stops, allowing us to choose the ones best for us, making changes as we asked. Nothing was too much of an ask for Jules! While traveling, she was available to help with confirmations, cancellations and changes as needed. Upon our return, she wanted to hear all about our experience, and she even helped us get our emergency medical experience reimbursed through the travel insurance. Pura Vida is a saying that is used by Coast Ricians which means good life! That is exactly what we experienced while on our vacation to Costa Rica. Jules was more than a travel agent for our family, she was a genie making our dreams come true. We had a big list of goals and a strict budget to meet them and Jules delivered on everything and more. Our trip wasn't the trip of a lifetime, it was 5 trips in one. She coordinated our travel for my myself, my wife, and our 10 yo daughter between Rome/Naples (Italy), Crete/Mykonos/Athens (Greece), Kusadasi/Istanbul (Turkey), Paris (France), Montreux (Switzerland), and Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Munich/Schwangau (Germany) all in a 2 week window. What's more, our trip was supposed to happen in 2022 but had to be postponed because we caught Covid before we were scheduled to leave. Without missing a beat or batting an eye, Jules recoordinated everything. She took care of it all without us having to worry about a thing or lift a finger. We could not have had a better experience, from beginning to end Jules was by our side! She makes great suggestions, has an enormous village of experts to refer to (as our trip was a bit more "unusual"), and made the entire experience a joy. We always felt like we had someone in our corner - while we were home and especially while we were away! From a super detailed app she created with all our flight information, to a what's app thread to stay connected while we traveled. Working with Jules was amazing! We have never worked with a travel agent before, she provided so many options, recommendations, and helped us plan our family trip of our dreams. Life saving App included

Jules makes the arduous process of planning a vacation much easier and less stressful. She asks what the family interests are and sends lots of links in emails of possible excursions and books all needed extras such as excursions and rental cars. She also puts all of your itinerary and needed information in a life saving app with all vouchers and electronic info included in 1 place. She goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy and is prompt with taking care of details. She is also conscientious about explaining the fine print of potential problems dealing with Covid issues. I will never plan a family vacation without her again. Whether it’s a complicated multiple destination or simple trip- she makes it easy and takes the stress away!

Jules was fantastic and helping us plan our trip to Seattle and then onto a cruise to Alaska. She kept in touch on a regular basis to help us make advised decisions on each step of our trip. She supplied so much helpful information! Jules was able to get us great pricing for all the parts of the trip. Cruise, ground excursions, hotel, etc. We unfortunately had to have a shortened trip due to medical reasons and Jules has been there every step of the way with the travel insurance company paperwork and submitting a claim. I highly recommend travel insurance!!! It has helped us recoup tens of thousands of dollars in expenses. Jules can assist with you selecting the right policy. Cant wait to plan our next adventure with Jules!!

Dream Honeymoon

We contacted Jules back in July when we found flights to Turks & Caicos and ask her to help us plan our honeymoon stay at Beaches by Sandals. Even though it was very last minute with booking everything she was super helpful and worked with us even outside of her regular business hours. Jules helped us pick the best dates for the best price and we were so excited. Leading up to our trip she would send us updates on COVID info and even added a packing list for our beachy vacation. We had some trouble with TCI Authorization and Jules was willing to call them at 5 AM CST to see what she could do to sort out the problem. We had the absolute best honeymoon ever. Jules sent us some chocolate covered strawberries to help us in our celebration. Everything was perfect!! She even helped our friends plan a surprise candlelit dinner for us. Overall, Jules went above and beyond to help us plan and enjoy our honeymoon.

Jules is the best! She was extremely helpful as she helped us plan our recent trip to Maui. She was proactive in finding activities with great deals, booked them for us and was a trusted liaison in dealing with the tour companies. She called and confirmed our tours several times given the uncertainty around COVID. She will do just about anything to make sure her clients are taken care of and having the time of their lives while on vacation! Our trip was a thousand times more relaxing and enjoyable because of her guidance and help! She's so good, we're using her for our upcoming Disney trip, too!

Jules has been a lifesaver! She was incredibly responsive to all of my many questions when organizing a school reunion cruise and making reservations for our family reunion cruise. Jules handled COVID cancellations for both cruises, and because of her, our full refund was returned, saving us thousands of dollars! We were hesitant to pay more on our cruise balances, hoping the cruise line would cancel the trips and refund our payments before we lost them due to (strategic!) non-payment. Just when we resigned ourselves to losing those funds, Jules secured an extension. TWO days later, the cruise line canceled. Jules (bless her!) followed up to ensure I received a full refund. She went above and beyond what I expected. We are incredibly grateful for Jules' dedication to her clients, even during a pandemic. I feel confident in her ability to plan extraordinary experiences (coming up - Europe!), knowing that she has our back should the world (literally) erupt in chaos. Thanks, Jules!

Jules made our dream vacation a reality

Thank goodness for Jules!!! My husband and I recently visited Italy. It was our first trip to Europe and our first time being away from our children for so long, so I really wanted everything to be perfect. A friend recommended Jules, and I’m so glad that she did. This was by far the best trip I’ve ever taken. Everything went so smoothly. I had a few things in mind that i wanted to see and do. Jules covered everything on my wish list and booked lots of other great experiences and tours. She also handled all of our transportation needs, which was such a relief. I know that our vacation would not have been anywhere near as amazing and seem less if we hadn’t worked with Jules.

Top 3 Trip of My Lifetime!

Jules was recommended to me by a few of my friends including one who had just returned from a trip that she helped plan that looked incredible. I reached out to her to see if she could help me with planning a summer vacation for our family of 4. We discussed our budget, dates and a few ideas that I had both domestic and internationally in detail. She took that conversation and gave me several options to explore a few days later that met every need we discussed. She took the time through each option and assure we understood pricing, accommodation and even share ideas for excursions we could do while there. We decided to go to the Hyatt Ziva in Punta Cana which offered everything on our wish list and more!! No details were missed including transportation as well as assuring we received a rollaway bed for my son to sleep in. In the days leading up to our trip, she shared an app with us that had all of the details on our resort, transportation, excursions and flight details. AMAZING!!

The Honeymoon of my Dreams

Jules was amazing since the very beginning, she was always available for any question we had, always listening to our requests and finding options that fitted our budget. Baby-moon!

Jules planned our babymoon to the DR and it was wonderful! Not having to worry about the flights, travel to/from the resort or any other detail was amazing. She made sure to think through things that I could/could not do pregnant. Even though our vacation was at the same time as her family vacation to Mexico she still answered a question I had during our trip. Could not recommend more!

Holiday Escape

Jules booked our Christmas/ New Years cruise for us. We had some changes that needed to be made after booking and she handled it for us. Covid protocols were always changing and Jules kept us up to date. She also kept us on track with what needed to be done prior to our trip. Which in my world is a great help! Anytime I had a concern she was always quick to respond. She happened to be cruising on the same ship as us a week before and left us feedback the day she left. Incredible Trip to Portugal

Jules is awesome!! We live in New Zealand, but know Jules from our time in the States. We never used a travel agent before because we thought we had to pay them or we could find better options online and honestly only asked her for advice to be supportive friends. WOW, we will never go back to not asking her first! She gave us a rundown of awesome resort choices and once we chose the one we wanted, she was able to save us hundreds of dollars over what we could find online. We’ve referred quite a few friends to her since then who also didn’t realise that travel agents are free to us and are able to find so much more than we can! Jules specifically LOVES what she does and is so dedicated to the people she helps. She gives so much of her time to make sure her clients find just-the-right-thing for their family and circumstances. You will definitely be happy with your choice to go with Jules!!

Brilliant Family Holiday

Jules is a travel agent that actually LISTENS to what you want from your holiday. Not only does she listen but she constantly monitors the holiday that you have chosen and if there are new deals/discounts that apply to your trip, she will call you and see if you are interested in them. Thoroughly recommend booking holidays through her. We have already booked our next holiday with her - Jules is very knowledgeable on cruises too. I would recommend this agent to my family and friends

Carefree trip

From the very beginning of planning Jules was very quick in responding and listened to all our wants and needs. Leading up to the trip she kept us in the loop and made sure we had everything ready that we needed ( including a packing list)! While on our trip she answered questions and made sure we had everything we needed. After departure she contacted the host when a message needed to be relayed. Even with two young children in tow it was by far the most care free “vacation” we have had in 6 years.

Jules was very resourceful and a delight to work with. I hear about other travel agents who ignore you once you pay for your trip. Not Jules -- she follows up during and after the trip. I would highly recommend her!

Amazing and relaxing trip!

Jules was amazing to work with!! We called her to plan our 25th-anniversary trip and her suggestions and planning were top-notch. We knew we wanted an all-inclusive vacation, great restaurants were high on our list. In fact, the resort she suggested had everything on our wish list!
