Luxury Travel Agent

I have been fortunate to visit most of the world's great destinations and am fascinated by different cultures and countries. My passion for travel has grown through my 25 years in the travel industry and I love helping clients discover new and exciting locations. Before becoming a travel agent in 1988, I worked for more than 8 years as a personal assistant for Burt Lancaster, whose sense of organization and demand for excellence helped prepare me for this career. I also learned to safeguard the privacy of my clients, something important to many of my entertainment business and VIP clients, who often are quite reclusive when they travel and do not even want the hotel staff to know who they are.

I traveled a lot while working for Burt, and after being recruited by a travel agency I learned I was quite good at travel planning. Professionals in the entertainment business who knew me began to trust me with their travel and then referred their friends. My business continues to grow by referrals, and I have served more than half of my clients for over 20 years.

I attribute much of my success to my ability to listen to and understand what people are looking for, and to my expertise and creativity in orchestrating amazing, very personalized experiences. A key to creating those experiences is the close relationships I have developed with hoteliers, guides and vendors around the world and the vetted suppliers I can draw on as a Protravel International agent. It makes a big difference when I send a client to a hotel and the manager and staff know who I am. In some cases, the hotelier has had dinner in my home during a visit to the States and is happy to personally greet my clients and do what he or she can to make their stay special.

Another thing my clients appreciate is that I stay involved in every trip from planning and throughout their travels and beyond. Whether you travel for business or pleasure, if your plans change, as they sometimes must, I am there to make any needed adjustments. For example, one of my clients was taking a trip to Asia with his girlfriend. Sadly, they broke up right before departing and he substituted a friend, so I quickly updated and modified the entire trip.

For my first 17 years as a travel agent, I worked at a small agency. As the industry changed, I decided I needed the leverage that comes with working at a large agency. I found that Protravel International offered everything I was looking for. Almost every one of my clients stayed with me through my move, and they appreciate the additional amenities and service I was able to provide.

If you are looking for a travel agent with the expertise and connections to customize a trip that exceeds your dreams and expectations, I would love to hear from you.
