Hello! My name is Robert Chamberlin, and I am the VP of Business Development of Cruise Travel & Tours / SeaSide Events based in sunny Royal Palm Beach, Florida.  I am a cruise enthusiast and have been working in this wonderful industry for over 20 years. I currently oversee SeaSide Events sales and commercial operations, as well as the relationship with our cruise line partners involved with Cruise Groups, Meetings and Incentives on board their ships. As both a customer as well as a seller, I am a firm believer in the value of conducting group events (leisure or business, Family or Colleagues) on board cruise ships and experiencing their amazing facilities and high-energy activities.

I have organized and managed several group events on cruise ships with group sizes ranging from a family of 10 to corporate groups with 80 to 200+ attendees. We all know of the amount of advanced planning and effort that goes into delivering a successful group event, and thus I am always pleasantly surprised of how smooth the process can be when we work closely with knowledgeable and experienced professionals. At the end of the day its all about exceeding expectations and delivering value to our customers through a wonderful and memorable cruise event.

At SeaSide Events we manage a wide range of group events, from a small gathering of family members, partners, friends or top sales staff, to a large and complex event bringing hundreds of colleagues or peers together around a conference, club meeting or trade show. As we know, group events have unique and specific requirements that need to be addressed early in the planning phase in order to ensure all goes according to plan. Our team at SeaSide Events works closely with our customers to first understand their event requirements, and from there research the various options, find the perfect cruise ship that meets their needs and ultimately prepare a comprehensive event proposal in cooperation with our cruise line partners. Prior to my current responsibilities, I worked for over 15+ years with wonderful companies involved in cruise distribution and was fortunate to have the opportunity of living and working in places such as Miami, Vancouver, Nice (France) and Sydney, Australia.
