Private Guide Experience in Normandy, France

In our 2019 trip abroad to France, we spent a day in Normandy. This was the 75th year of the invasion of D-Day so tons of visitors were there to experience all the festivities. Due to this reason, we hired a wonderful private guide through Tours by Locals. "Angela" was a 25 citizen of the area even though she was originally from Romania. She has excellent English Skills and we had fun tooling around in her super cute car. She showed us the top sites of the invasion like the Memorial, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetary, Longues-sur-Mer battery, Pointe du Hoc, and the charming town of Bayeux. It was a wonderful day and I recommend a private guide to be able to see and do more than in a group tour! It was worth every penny!!
