Walt Disney World
January 27 - February 3, 2024 I visited Walt Disney World. From January 27 - 31, I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at Bay Lake Towers with a Magic Kingdom view. Every morning I woke up Cinderella's Castle was visible right out of my window. Every evening I could sit on the balcony of my room and enjoy the fireworks display over the castle. The room was amazing. The master room had a king size bed with a huge master bathroom. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom had 2 queen beds with a bathroom. In between the 2 bedrooms was the living room, full kitchen and 3rd full bathroom. In the living room was a sofa bed and single sleeper chair. So overall, this villa can sleep 9 people. It is nice to have a full kitchen. I ordered groceries and was able to cook some meals. From January 31 - February 3, I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at Riviera Resort. The preferred view overlooked the pools, lake, Caribbean Beach Resort and the Disney Skyliner. The set up was very similar to Bay Lake Towers. The decor is different. This villa also slept a total of 9 people. There was not a 3rd bathroom in the living room/kitchen area.
Bay Lake Towers allows the use of the monorail out of the Contemporary Resort. The monorail serves Magic Kingdom and Epcot as well as some other resorts.
Riviera Resort allows the use of the Disney Skyliner. The Skyliner serves Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
This trip I visited Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Festival of the Arts was happening at Epcot. The festivals at Epcot are always fun. I also got to ride Tron in Magic Kingdom. What an amazing new ride.
