Our enchanting journey to Portugal began with a flight from Spain, landing us in the heart of Lisbon. We wasted no time in soaking up the local vibe. The first order of business? Unwinding with refreshing Aperol spritzes on the rooftop of our hotel, gazing out over the sprawling cityscape before us.

Eager to explore, we hopped onto a tuk-tuk for an exhilarating tour of Lisbon's iconic sites. From the majestic Belém Tower to the picturesque Alfama district, each corner of the city seemed to whisper tales of its rich history. The sheer vibrancy of the city captured our hearts instantly.

As the sun set, we indulged in a mouthwatering dinner of peri peri chicken, a local culinary delight that sizzled with flavors.

The next day, we ventured out on a private tour of Sintra's enchanting Pena Palace. The colorful, fairytale-like structure perched on the hilltop made us feel like royalty. Our private driver was not only knowledgeable but also took us further afield to explore the charming coastal town of Cascais and stand at the edge of the western-most point of Europe, Cabo da Roca—it was nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Our quest for adventure didn't stop there. We plunged into the chilly Atlantic waters for an exhilarating kayaking experience off the coast of Portugal. Navigating through rugged sea caves and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, we felt truly connected with nature.

When we returned back to the city we had a lovely dinner accompanied by passionate Fado music singers. 

From the vibrant streets of Lisbon to the historical allure of Sintra, and the adventurous activities along the coastline, Portugal delivered an unforgettable and diverse travel experience.
