My husband and I traveled to Greece to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint! 

We spent several days in Athens, walking the old cobbled streets that had stories to tell, popping into quaint restaurants to try new foods and exploring all of the ancient remains. We wandered and wandered and the more we explored, the more we fell in love with the city. 

We then took a quick flight to Santorini. Santorini is known as Thira and is one of the most famous islands in the world. The fact that you can sit in front of the caldera, enjoy local dishes, a drink or a coffee while gazing at the remarkable beauty of an active volcano is priceless! The beauty around every corner never got old. The wineries were a treat and the sunsets were divine. 

Next we took a ferry to Milos. This ended up being my favorite island. It was not touristy, very small town and quaint with so many different landscapes to explore. The hills and villages, small towns, unique beaches and small nooks only reached by boat are forever etched into my memory. When I hear the mention of Milos, I smile. 

We then enjoyed a longer ferry ride to Naxos. Naxos felt more like home with a family feel. Small town island that was laid back and a summer getaway for many Greek families. Naxos brought more amazing food, towns to wander through, gorgeous sunsets and more core memories tucked away. 

Our time in Greece is one of my favorite traveling memories as it was etched full of relaxation, exploration, yummy food and beautiful landscape.
