Le Barthelemy

Le Barthelemy started out amazing and just keeps getting better! A mere 10 months after opening their doors in 2016, they were hit by a hurricane. They focused on the positive and took the knowledge they have gained the first year in business, made some amazing improvements and reopened in October 2018, better than ever!

The location is perfect for beach lovers that want to be "steps" from the beach. You could not be closer! Two villas sleep 6 people each and there is a duplex that sleeps 4. What I loved about these villas most was the screened in porch that offered both privacy and gorgeous views! Most room categories don't offer tubs due to water conservation, but the duplex does have that feature.

The guest are made up of about 80% Americans with lots of European and Brazilian visitors during the summer months. When you arrive, you will be greeted with a friendly, "Bon Jour" keeping with the local culture. Island-inspired French cuisine can be found at Aux Amis Restaurant, serving different menu items for lunch and dinner. My lunch of margarita pizza was out of this world and my husband raved about the fish tacos!

Watersports and bikes are complimentary for hotel guests. If you take out a kayak, be prepared to see the sea turtles swimming close by! In the evenings, you can enjoy the scene at the roof top bar on property! 

The spa is the only full service spa on the island of St. Barths. Situated below ground level, it all guests are welcome to experience the steam room, sauna, and baths which come in cold, warm and hot. Sessions are plentiful and come at a price. You can also enjoy the fitness room and meditation room.
