Where to Stay on Lake Como
Lake Como is a huge lake, with many different spots to stay. I'll list out a few - but of course a one on one chat will help us determine which area is best for you to stay!
Bellagio - this is a small, quaint village. Ideally positioned on the lake, it is easy to hop on a private boat and explore different areas on the lake. Quaint villas and hotels are here, and if you love a charming small town, this is for you.
Como (city) - this is best if you are the type to want to walk around, shop, eat a different restaurants, go on city tours, take cooking classes and more. Como is a small city, and a walkable one at that. You can take ferries around the lake from here, or hop on board your private boat. There are a wide variety of accommodations here - 3, 4, and 5 star hotels, boutique hotels, and villas. This is also the easiest and closest Lake Como hub when coming from Milan.
Along the Lake - along the lake a tons of properties, 5 star hotels, boutique private villas and bed and breakfasts - both luxury and quaint. Staying in one of these accommodations is best if you want to truly unwind and relax at your accommodations, spend time on the lake via boat, and simply unwind. Staying in one of these hotels/bnbs/villas means you'll either want to have a driver or a rental car, if you are the type wanting to explore the area.
