What comes to mind when you hear the word 'Belize'? After my visit to Belize, it now evokes vivid images of unspoiled tropical beauty, adrenaline-stirring adventures, ancient Mayan ruins, and the azure depths of the ocean offering a whole new world to explore.

Mayan ruins like Xunantunich stand as proud remnants of an ancient civilization. And unlike some of the ruins in Mexico, the ruins in Belize are not crowded and can be climbed by visitors.

A highlight for me was the underwater world. The snorkeling and scuba diving were AMAZING. The coral reef is the second-largest reef system in the world.
