Omaha, Nebraska

After at least 20 years of talking about traveling to Omaha, we have finally attended the Men’s Baseball College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, June 2023. We were able to attend games starting the first Monday of the tournament and saw all three championship series games between Florida & LSU. I highly recommend the College World Series. The folks putting on the CWS know what they are doing. It was a great baseball tournament. WE even got to see two of Tennessee’s 3 games (I'm a big VOL's fan). Additionally, Omaha is a great place to visit. The people of Omaha, from ushers, gate security, parking attendants, to servers in restaurants were all so helpful, kind & friendly. If you are a college baseball fan, you need to go to the College World Series. If you are looking for a nice place to visit for a few days, you will enjoy Omaha. The pedestrian bridge across the Missouri River is a pleasant walk. Hartland BBQ was my favorite place to eat. I had the 3 Bones meal for lunch. VERY GOOD!
