Client Review: Cook Island Honeymoon
Cook Islands was wonderful! Being there in their "winter" was perfect. It was drizzly the first night there but the rest of our days were gorgeous. We had plenty of time in LA to make our Rartonga flight. However there was some delay in take off and customs which resulted us to miss our connecting flight to aitutaki. So we hung out at their airport for 5ish hours. The hotel was still accommodating with us coming in in the afternoon. The hotel has private huts for rooms which were perfect size. Staff was personable, they have a nightly drink named after us, there was activities each afternoon, lots of complementary activities: kayaks, snorkeling gear, towels, and scooters "for hire" /rent. The complementary breakfast was wonderful and the hotel is helpful in coordinating dinner reservations and lagoon cruise excursions. The whole island of aitutaki is 7 miles long so great to have a scooter to see everything. The sunsets we're one of my favorites. The view from our room was beautiful! We felt safe. Everyone speaks English. And the prices were reasonable for food. (Helps having the USD be stronger). The flight was long but worth it. Quiet, peaceful, exotic, and still special to not be a common honeymoon destination.
