Pura Vida! This was heard everywhere you go as you travel throughout the beautiful country of Costa Rica. This term means "simple life", however, it's more than just a phrase, it's a way of life. 

We flew into Liberia and made the 3 hours to Arenal. This vacation was split between the Volcano and the beach.  I was blown away by the diversity of plants and animals that were everywhere we turned. Monkeys, birds, frogs, you name we saw it! Plus, we spent an evening at the beautiful Springs Resort and enjoyed the Club Rio Adventure Center. Here they had River Tubing, Kayaking, Horseback riding, and so much more! The resort we stayed at was Arenal Nayara. This resort is perfect for Honeymooners, anniversaries, or couples looking to reconnect. 

Sky Trek/ Sky Tram, zip lining! WOW, I have to say that this excursion was by far the best one I have ever done in my life. You take a slow gondola up through the rainforest to the observation deck! You can either take the gondola back down or do the incredible thrill-seeking adventure of sky trek. 

After a few days on the volcano, we moved over to the Beach and stayed that the Riu Palace All Inclusive. This resort is great for all types and sits on a great beach.  We did horseback riding on the beach and took advantage of many activities on the property. 

If you are looking for a destination that has a little bit of adventure and a little relaxation, Costa Rica is the place for you! Costa Rica is beautiful, safe, and has something for everyone you are traveling with!
