Budapest-Surprisingly beautiful, and fun
Danube river thru Budapest
Our trip to Budapest was a broad sweeping experience. We toured Pest; We toured Buda. We ate fancy pastries in elegant European styled cafes. We toured Ruin bars (They were pretty cool). We got a ride in a Trabant to see Memento park, a collection of Communist propaganda statues. We learned that there is so much history, so many different experiences of Hungary's past that we can still see and taste for ourselves.
And yet, it was modern, comfortable and fun. I can't want to return.
