Penguins in Antarctica

I was fortunate to visit Antarctica, which was one of the best adventure trips ever.  I sailed with Silversea on which, if you can imagine, every suite has a butler.  A butler in Antarctica!!  To visit Antarctica on a luxury ship, with all the comforts of a luxury hotel is hard to beat.

People think of Antarctica as a block of ice, but it's so much more.  The colors, from white, black, grey and every shade of blue.  The sounds of the calving ice, the squawking penguins and whales passing by.  The scenery of the mountains and icebergs floating by.  It's great to know the world has gotten smaller and Antarctica is more accessible than ever.
