The view from the hotel pool...wow!
My absolute favorite place in Portugal is the Douro Valley. The Douro Valley is full of lush rolling hills, covered in vines. It is one of the top producing wine regions, and the wine is amazing if I do say so myself.
Just this weekend, I booked my clients a luxury hotel - modern design meets historic architecture, and it is situated perfectly in the middle of an organic farm and vineyard. My clients are spending their days sipping wines, going on wine tours, having an organic cooking class and taking a private boat down the Douro River.
