Jameson Tasting

Ireland:  Ireland is a place where I felt at home and could even see myself living for awhile. The beauty of the area is breathtaking and the people are charming and welcoming.  I was there after Thanksgiving week and preparations for Christmas had begun. The pubs, castles, stores and restaurants go all out for a celebration and Christmas is definitely at the top of the list. 

It is hard to pick a favorite as I loved everything there. The scenery is breathtaking.  I felt like I was transported to another time.  Whether climbing old castle staircases and hearing the history to listening to a local tell a story at a pub, everything was delightful. 

Of note, Kissing the Blarney Stone takes some courage.. something I had not expected was to have to lean backwards over a castle wall.
