Penguins waiting to go swimming!

When on an Antarctic expedition, you take what is called a Zodiac Boat from your expedition ship to the land of Antarctica or go on a zodiac cruise. 

First, the Zodiac Boats are pontoon style boats that seat 8-10 passengers. 

If you are in a location in Antarctica that is full of icebergs and stunning mountain ranges, usually a zodiac cruise will be scheduled. For an hour or two, you'll smoothly sail past icebergs, go into bays with vast vistas, and if you're lucky, sail past groups of penguins swimming in and out of the water, and seals laying about on the icebergs.
