If you travel more than once a year, this is something you should look into! It is worth the money. TSA Precheck allows you to get access expedited security lanes at the airport. Not only do you get a special line you don’t have to take your shoes off or take your laptop or liquids out of your bag. It really is a time saver and less hassle.

Once you apply and get approved, you get a Known traveler number you add to your flight reservation which allows you to have access to the benefits of the program. Price is $85 for 5 years.

How it works?

Apply online. It takes about 5 minutes or less to complete. Schedule an appointment at over 400+ enrollment centers.

Enroll: Attend your in-person appointment to provide fingerprints, supply citizenship and identity documents and pay the enrollment fee.Enjoy TSA PreCheck® Once approved, add your Known Traveler Number to your airline reservations and enjoy your membership for 5 years. And online renewals are a great deal at $70 for another 5 years after that.

Global Entry

Global entry is for those who travel internationally over. This program allows you to skip the lines at immigration and customs quicker than if you don’t have it. They do a deep background check to make sure you are not a criminal or a risk. It’s really does allow for quicker entry into the USA from foreign countries. It has never taken me for then 10 minutes to clear customs.

Global Entry program members can use Global Entry Customs Kiosks at more than 75 airports when returning to the U.S. from travel abroad.Cost is $100 for 5 years.

How it works

1. Apply Online. Submit the online application.

2. Enroll. Applicants who are conditionally approved can complete their interviews upon arrival into the United States at an Enrollment on Arrival location or by scheduling an appointment at an Enrollment Center.If you are flying internationally into the US within the next 6 months we encourage you to complete your Global Entry enrollment at an Enrollment on Arrival (EoA) location as an alternative to scheduling an interview at an Enrollment Center.

3. Membership. Once accepted, your membership will last for 5 years
